Maybe for while, we should just stop blaming the politians alone for the cause of our country's economic hardship. Let us focus on our fellow citizens like the market women, transport owners like the okada, keke and bus people and banks etc. You see these set of people are also making life more difficult for other citizens. They exagerate the price of their service, and taking advantage of the national hardship as the cause of increase in price. Could you believe that on sunday, i entered a bus from my house junction to my church junction for N200. And just yesterday, i entered the same type of bus to work, and that greedy agbero was telling me it was N300. And seriously, my working place is not far away from my church, they both have the same area address, same goes to the market women. Can you see now? We are the one doing ourselves.

Market people are definitely to blame, the worst part is some of them are selling their old stock for new price.
Imagine something that they bought for like 8k before because the price don rise they started selling it for 20k instead of the usual selling price.
This tinubulation will make many people cry blood.

It's a normal thing I think.

This is where the govt comes in with price regulation or something.

I think we've done it before, where the govt threatned to arrest any marketer/trader trying to sell rice above a particular price.

So you can't really make the govt blameless.

It is well.

my dear you cannot blame them. Everybody is scared. The economy is very unstable. They have families to feed, nobody wants to shortchange himself and get burnt. The govt is not even helping matters. If there is stability and trust prices will come down.

they would restock now? So you want them to run at a loss? If tibubu is running a capitalist economy why would the market woman's own be different?

yes everybody is playing safe. Nobody wants to shortchange himself. You take away the only hope of the common man subsidy and you want things to remain normal?

is not going to work. We are not running communist or socialist economy. The economy is subject to demand and supply. Free float.

Na so.

Nigeria rice is selling from 56-58k, rice sellers will buy it and come home to be announcing that they buy rice for 78-86k( which is the price for foreign rice).

They all be claiming it's foreign rice.

you are right, this morning I went to a chemist to get P.alaxin, he said the price is 2500, I said nawao something of 1500 this early year? When he gave me it was produced in 2021 and expiring this year November.

I returned it to him and told him I am ready to buy at that amount if it has long expiring date.

Na so Oga give me and told me to bring 1700, I accepted because November still far and it will still be effective.
Those ones with plenty old stock making shakara now might end up regretting, because I won't spend my money on a product that the expiring date is less than a year to go again.
I must check thoroughly now before paying for anything.

It's not their 4th neither is it their 5th. Because if they if they don't increase their prices, they won't be able to meet up with the reality of what is obtainable currently.

If their profits remain the same before the great tinubulation, how do we expect them to cope during this same Tinubulation.

Don't forget that apart from what they sell, we all meet in the same market of life.

They also have other things to buy and reoccurrent needs to meet that has increased in multiple levels.

The great Tinubulation is real, it concerns everybody.
