Distribution of school supplies to pupils of Ekhibi primary school, Ovbiogie town, by Hon. Efosa Uyigue, the Vice Chairman of Ovia North East LGA and Mrs Adesuwa Obasohan, representative of Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW)

The pupils and staff of Ekhibi primary school in Ovbiogie Community, Ovia North East LGA, Edo State were super excited today as the Vice Chairman of Ovia North East LGA, Hon. Efosa Uyigue and the representative of Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW) Mrs. Adesuwa Obasohan visited the school to distribute school bags, notebooks, and writing materials to the pupils.

The distribution was done as part of the Association's drive to support students in schools across the three Senatorial Districts in Edo State. Ekhibi Primary School is one of the beneficiary schools that received gifts from the Diaspora Association.

The Vice Chairman of the LGA, Hon. Uyigue admonished the pupils to take their studies seriously and put in their best to come out in flying colours in their educational pursuit. She expressed her excitement at the thrilling performance of kindergarten (kg 3) pupil of Ekhibi Primary School during the December Christmas Carol party organised by the Ministry of Education in the State. According to her, the pupil took the 3rd lesson and was eloquent and outstanding, and she admired her performance, which goes to show that they are well tutored by the teachers of the school.

Mrs Adesuwa Obasohan also admonished the students on the need to cultivate the good habit of learning and making their parents and society proud. According to her, her association (ENAW) has long been contributing a lot to students in Edo State to assist their learning processes, and there was a need to capture Ekhibi primary school as beneficiaries to aid learning. She assured them of more gifts and to other schools in neighboring communities and across the Local Government Area and the state.

The head mistress of the school appreciated the gestures from Hon. Efosa Uyigue and ENAW ably represented by Mrs Adesuwa Obasohan, assures the good use of the learning materials and to give the students the best lessons towards grooming them as great agents of transformation in the society.

Also present at the School with Hon. Uyigue was Mr Sopia the Okaighele of Ovbiogie Community, where the distribution of the materials took place.
