This govt is so dumb and useless. How do u expect farmers to go d farm without adequate security put in place? Well, Tinubu and his Co knew d dirty game they used in 2014 against GEJ. D chadians, Malian and Nigeriens u guys imported has refused to go back as they hv tested money from u guys and found out that money sweet. A friend wanted to purchase acres of farm land, but bcs security is not guaranteed in that surrounding, he had to keep his money. If no like import hundreds of millions of fertilizer, so far farmers are not secured, it won't work |

Stewpid muv let them fight killing and kidnapping in the north and watch things change for good Even in southwest one of my neighbor came crying to me that all their crops has been destroyed by Fulani cows He said if they want to warn them they will receive a threat from them But my advice to him is "God is a merciful God kill those Fulani cows in the morning then ask God for forgiveness in the evening so that you guys will be among those that will enter his kingdom!!"

Great100000: Over the years the FG subsidises fertilisers and tractors for the farmers particularly in the north this then crashes the cost of the production of their produce but rather than sell it at a prescribe price to the Nigerian market this greedy farmers will sell it to neighbouring countries where the price is higher because of the local subsidy they got in fertiliser and access to tractors....THATS WHY THEY WERE "SMUGGLING FOOD IN TRAILERS TO NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES WHILE NIGERIA WAS SUFFERING ACUTE FOOD SHORTAGE Then they sell the rest at any price dictated by themselves to NIgerians/ CBN should stop all these largesse. The funds to boost food production shouldn't be an annual affair but a short term plan to encourage farmers to stand on their own Max is should be a 5 year plan and FG must exit. Subsidy naturally leads to corruption and smuggling and inconsistently of supply. What Government is to is essentially to provide security for farmers and a monthly voucher that Nigerians can access through assessment of their income and family size which they can use at the point of purchase. This vouchers can be cashed out instantly by the traders in the open market |

Re: CBN Resumes Agric Funding With ₦100 Billion by seunayantokun(m): 9:30am On Mar 16 |
It's funny they are supporting this and that when the only reasonable support should start with security of lives and properties of farmers. Farms are being destroyed, farming communities being closed down and taken, farmers being kidnapped for ransom to drain away all financial capabilities in their life, many of them being killed anyhow. All by fulani terrorists. No intention to disarm them. No concrete political will to allow people at their mercy to carry arms to defend themselves with, neither any concrete desire by the government to defend them. The security agencies have been weakened by compromise. Local governments and states have an inalienable right to defend themselves against sophisticatedly armed fulani terrorists with nothing. They must depend on repentant and unrepentant terrorists who are strategically and powerfully, officially and unofficially, in charge of naija security agencies. |

Who gets the fertilizer, When, How? Because this media aggrandizing won't solve the problems ooo. Buhari and Emefele did more than that, but here is where we are today. |
