Many people stop going to Church When they notice the hypocrisy within and the money-grubbing "men of God" For some, it is too much to bear and it is better to stop deceiving oneself by going to Church But that is not the solution and may be the road to perdition The Church is a mirror of society If you think it stinks , well, this just shows the way society at large is Your job is not to isolate yourself away from the people but to learn how to ignore some things and manoeuvre your way to get what you desire in life. If you run away from Church, you may end up running away from 98% of people around you as well What good will that do? |

You're right. However, what do we define as Church in these present times? A building where believers and self-proclaimed believers go to hear one man preach messages, whether based on his sentiments or the Word of God and sermons which must be shoved down their throats even if they may be heresies; or a fellowship of people who trust completely in Christ and gather to strengthen and equip one another to do the work of ministry? |

Geovanni412:If it is just another of many mirrors of society then it is best to be rid of it. That way society can focus its strength on working on that which matters and no attending to extra meaningless endeavors. |
