Nigerian Military Denies Carrying Out Any Reprisal Attack In Okuoma, Delta by Gistmedia10: 3:06pm On Mar 18
The Nigerian military has rejected accusations of launching a reprisal attack on the Okuoma community in Delta state, following the killing of 16 of its officers by youths of the community over the weekend.

General Christopher Musa, the defense chief, responded to Reuters, denying any military-initiated attack on the community. "No reprisals by the army. We are searching for the murderers and their weapon cache," Musa stated.

There have been claims from some Nigerians that individuals in army uniform raided and set fire to homes in the community on Sunday, March 17, a few days after the officers were killed.

The 16 soldiers had been dispatched to the community to mediate a land dispute. A video of houses burning in the community circulated widely on Sunday, with allegations that they were set ablaze by certain military personnel.

That is our problem with these military people, they can denial for Africa even when they are caught red handed undecided

They stormed #endsars peaceful protest and fired shots at innocent protesters, some even lost their lives yet they denied.

At first they said they weren’t even at the scene of protest, but when their van was caught on camera they later said they were there but only fired fake bullet. undecided
