Poster, don' t forget some Africans are francophones are Portuguese speaking are you sure they don't complain abot their women? Then I can tell you you're wrong go to Ivory Coast then you'll see how much they complain about their materialistic beahaviour, same thing for Cameroonian or Senegalese and Congolese so Nigerian are not the only case |

In addition, the posters in question are OVERWHELMINGLY from ONE PARTICULAR STATE in nigeria. Various conclusions to be drawn from that. They form the bulk, while other support staff from other tribes chip in occasionally, but usually at a lower frequency than the males from this one state. Makes me wonder about the culture over there- i suppose its conducive to such because i cant really think of any other explanation though i'm open to any other suggestion that seems valid. |

Although that doesnt necessarily mean the posters from the one particular state that i noticed, who are the most vocal, arent actually working under the direction of the quieter others who prefer to remain under the radar. |

Men who constantly complain about their women are either: 1) Suffering from an extreme case of inferiority complex especially when tĦey are such broke-a*ss loosers, can't think of how to approach a chic or just way down there 2) Immature 3) Still squirming from having their a*ss dumped, and trying to make a come-back at ladies. |

Some Nigerian men have an insatiable need for self-flagellation that's all. Whether it is talking down their country or their female counterparts, its an extension of how they tend to put themselves down. It is not that other African men do not have the same complaints about their women, they do, but they hardly air their dirty linen in public and at the end of the day would defend their sisters, mothers and daughters. You have to be part of their inner circle to hear the negatives going on in their community. Nigerian men of today would talk down their people and their country to anyone that will listen. Many have lost all pride and principles. Some Nigerian men have in general eroded any bond or sense of responsibility to community or family. When they look at Nigerian women who are all about money and material things at ANY cost, they don't like it. Its their own reflection in the mirror that they are afraid of and they hate to see it up close. |

Other african men do complain about the their women the same way nigerian men complain about their women so its not just a nigerian thing. |

I completely agree with Londoner and Nj girl. I just don't understand why some do not understand that publicly disrespecting their women actually causes them to be a subject of shame - and it appears some even gain pleasure from such derision. I can never be with a man that disrespects the women that enabled his nurturing even for mere sport because he clearly does not respect himself and thus cannot respect me. After all if events turn serious I may carry his child and would such abuse follow his female child? his lineage? (smh). If a Nigerian woman marries outside her child will not bear those taunts unlike the men in whom the lineage is continued, they are indirectly abusing their descendants. |

Here we go again. Its always about naija babes on nairaland. But has anyone ever asked himself why naija chics do not complain about naija guys? Its because if they got anything to say at all it will be about our love for forking or that we are generally broke. The first allegation can not be regarded as one cos its a well known fact which aint common to naija guys only. It applies to men all over the world. As for the second allegation, we cann always use that as a counter to butress our point on how materialistic naija chics are. I for one try as much as i can to avoid coming on here to bash naija chics but truth be told, naija chics too dey fork up. Kai! As someone with field experience, i meet chics almost all the time with the intention of getting to screw them afterward. So i met one a few months ago. I took her out to an eatery on one occassion. Fork up number one was, until that time that i took her out, we were just friends. We never held hands, no touching each other, no nothing. But when we emerged from the eatery, she was already holding me by the waist. After the outing, i asked whether she had a sweet tooth cos i intended buying her biscuits whenever i visited until whenever i forked her then she would lose the privilege, She confirmed that she had a sweet tooth and then her fork up number 2 occured shortly afterward. I visited her as usual with the pasteries and we smooched in the car under the cover of darkness. After the whole smoochy smoochy i went to drop her off. Can you all imagine that this stooopid, hungry beach forgot her purse which had some important documents in my car but she didnt forget the pasteries, To now add salt to injury, i didnt know that she left her purse in my car only for my steady chic to discover the purse in my car and then world war 3 broke out. I was so forking mad. So you see naija chics no just dey try at all. Wetin my eye don see, nairaland no fit contain am. |
