If it's a V6, then it'll be a 2,8. The 3,0 was never an option in the B5,5 Passat.

Bro, I think you really need to lift the hood of this car, and take a good look at the engine. In your opening post, you stated it has 4 plugs - which suggests it's an I4. Then you later post it's a 3,0 V6.

You need to know your product, else how can any potential buyer know what you're selling?

We're none the wiser though. It could be an I4, V5 or V6. You're sort of set on an I4 or V6.
