This grid should be decentralised. It is even a concern that Nigeria still operates a centralised grid system that poses an energy risk. I don't know why we like centralised system in all spheres of our national life. A North East grid collapsing shouldn't affect power supply in South West, and vice versa.

You will never hear that a national grid collapse in Ghana and Cameroon. Why is Nigeria things like this? As small as Ghana, you will never hear there is collapse of national grid. These are countries that have recorded uninterrupted power supply for 10 years straight.

Imagine having light for 10 years without blinking it. You can never see such in Nigeria. All these are some of the issues we have as a country and yet the female genders are adding more to it by becoming feminists just so to make things worse for all men in the country.

Now that Pocohantas has become the leader of the feminists on Nairaland, I just hope we will have fresh air to breathe with time.

These and more are some of the things we need to tackle and get rid of in this nation. Say no to feminism. Say no to power tussle with men. We call on all women and lesbians to be submissive to men and stop starving themselves of true love.

Let's not deceive the younger generation. Repent now all you feminists and flee from all form of insubordinations towards men now that you still have the time.

Let's those who have ear 👂 hear!

Adelabu is an accountant. This job is too challenging for him, and it’s a critical infrastructure that I think President Tinubu aims to get right.

I hope he is replaced by someone more competent with innovative mind and will deliver with minimal excuses.

It will keep collapsing on the head of Tinubu and all agbado supporters. When Obi went to Egypt to study tricks behind their steady power supply, a height Egypt newly acquired, many APC urchins and jobless people here condemned him. How far today? Where is Tinubu taking us? Any sign he knows what he's doing? Any trace he has a plan Nigerians deserve their leaders

You call that 48hrs charade Peter Obi went to do in Egypt "study" ... did Alex otti travel anywhere

lets assume Peter obi was President will he hold tools and build the power plant by himself or outsource it to professionals

Today most backlogs holding the nation backward are being cleared, several reforms in immigration and banking sector that resonate "Hope" and foreign investors are regaining hopes of repatriating capital funds ...

Tinubu economy reform targets $1 trillion Gdp,and you must have heard about the recapitalisation of bank directive ..

Oga even if you are blind its not an excuse .. what plan does peter obi have to resolve NLC/LP fracas. person wey no fit fix im family wan fix Nigeria grin

For almost 2- Months,as they give epileptic lights - Off and On and fridges, can't get cold ,even as I'm typing,no light in Ikorodu!
•Those giving lights from Ikeja DISCOS are just not there for the People and all these DISCOS are not performing and New People needs to come in!
• DISCOS have failed Nigerians and the Grid was designed for particular set of Regioni and is not beneficial for any Industilisation!

The present minister for power seems to be a loss on his assignment or there are saboteurs in the system. I type this no light in my base in ABUJA since yesterday. It is so sad that FCT has no constant supply of power .
Re: National Grid Collapses Again by nairalanda1(m): 3:51pm On Mar 29
Well, Ivory Coast used to have national grid collapses

Then in the early 1990's they changed their strategy by privatizing the power sector, and allowing the payment of cost reflective tarrifs.

SInce 1993, nothing like grid collapse.

NIgeria on the other hand believes that electricity is free, and must be free of charge. Magical thinking I tell you.

AH well.....

I think he doesn't really.need to be an engineer. He should work closely with trusted and intelligent engineers on thei ministry that understands the issues and solutions.
