Same Nigerians who clamour for the independent of the judiciary turn around to accuse the president of detaining suspects, who are undergoing trials by the judiciary.

Are they allotting more powers to the president than he actually has?

Why then have the courts, if the president is the substantive judge?

Adebanjo is obviously senile. The Supreme Court has ruled that his trial is lawful and should proceed while d Federal High Court has denied his bail application. What has Tinubu to do with it? Let Mr Kanu face his day in court, if d court frees him d FG will appeal up to d Supreme Court. If d Supreme Court finally frees him he goes home. But if he is found guilty, let him serve d punishment and go to prison,.perhaps for life. He is not above the laelw pls

What you sow is what you reap. This same man mobilised people through propaganda to call Jonathan 'clueless' and all sorts of names thereby desecration the same office he's occupying today. So short up. I will not forget "Occupy Nigeria" which he supported with the likes of Tunde Bakerii when when they claimed that subsidy is a scam and doesn't exist. Hmm. NIGERIA? Too many liars and deceivers in power. So how can things be better. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

The good thing is that it wasn't Tinubu nor tinubu's regime that locked him up, so nobody can use that to blackmail jagaban.

Kanu's case was already in court far b4 Tinubu ascended power, and it is the court that will jail/release him.

On Dec 15, 2023 the court decided his trial must be resumed. On March 19, resumption of trial ... he was refused bail. Who is refused bail?... one who is likely not to show up for trial ... to take flight. He did that ... whybwould they grant him bail? Now on what legal grounds he should be released? ... sentiments? Why is he now.seen as the peacemaker when he was the agitator for the insecurity? If he can't bring peace from within prison then he can't when he's out. More insecurity is likely to happen.... his zombies clashing with Simon Ekpa's zombies.

The problem I have with people like this old man Adebanjo is their hypocrisy.. why didn't he call Kanu to order when he was running hate broadcasts on radio biafra from London, radicalizing Igbo youths and inciting hatred among tribes in Nigeria?.. why didn't Ayo Adebanjo that calls himself an elder prevail on Igbo leaders in Ohanaeze to call their son Kanu to order?.

Buhari just had mercy on Kanu else the agency that caught him in Kenya and bundled him back to Nigeria would have silently eliminated him.. no be FBI eliminate American citizen that threatened to kill POTUS of recent?

Okay, can someone explain to me why Kanu issued order for IP0Bs to attack Tinubu and Sanwo Olu in Lagos?.. did any of the two govern any South East state or is Lagos State part and parcel of the South East region?.
What is wrong is wrong, we can't keep turning blind eyes to matters that can result in civil war or ethnic clashes in Nigeria.

Leave them make dem deh yearn trash. If dem get power, make dem go release am now. He will forever regret actions that led to incarceration. Chest beating and threat will never solve the problem. Only a high level delegation from southeast and probably some of the past presidents could wade in and plead with the federal govt to have him released.
