Shaibu Attends Burial Ceremonies @ Uromi amidst Cheers from APC Supporters, Traders

On a Good Friday noon, a significant event unfolded in the town of Uromi that captured the attention and admiration of many. The Deputy Governor of Edo State, the Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, embarked on a noble journey to attend two solemn burial ceremonies, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the people he served.

The first ceremony Shaibu attended was a heartfelt gathering with the family of Ozomonbor Ufuah and Bishop Emmanuel Ejikhian Ufuah, as well as Engineer Charles Imho-Odalo Ufuah, to commemorate the life of their beloved mother. Shaibu stood in solidarity with the grieving family, offering his condolences and support during their time of loss.

After paying his respects at the Ufuah family’s gathering, Shaibu continued his journey to join Chief Barrister Arthur Esene, a former Aspirant for Edo State PDP Governorship, at Obeidu primary school in Uromi. The gathering was a significant moment of unity and remembrance, where Shaibu’s presence serves as a symbol of solidarity and respect for the community.

As Shaibu made his journey back to Benin from attending the funeral ceremonies in Uromi, he encountered a bustling crowd of APC supporters who greeted him with cheers and solidarity. The air was alive with energy as they expressed their appreciation for the Edo State Deputy Governor.

Making a brief stop at the Ekpoma market to pick up some fruits, Shaibu found himself once again surrounded, this time by a group of traders eagerly capturing the moment on their phones. Amidst the interactions, a touching gesture unfolded before their eyes.

A mother approached Shaibu with her little child in her arms. Seeing the innocence and joy in the child’s eyes, Shaibu couldn’t help but be moved. With a warm smile, he gently lifted the child, covering him with blessings and a small token of cash. The mother’s eyes glistened with gratitude as she received her child back, the scene leaving a lasting impression of the Deputy Governor’s humility and compassion on all who witnessed it.
