That's how they detained Nnamdi Kanu for years in DSS facility before they even started to try him, infringement on his human rights. Nigeria is a lawless country

How exactly did Binance break the law in Nigeria? Tell me 1 and not the nonsense your government has been parroting.
In the case of USA, they have evidence that binance allowed people use crypto when they weren't allowed to, tell me what evidence or proof your government has. Instead of fixing the economy, they keep trading blame games. Same bullshit they did with AbokiFX, is what they're doing with Binance

Mr man back to same thing, where things are really working like US and even some places in South Africa, people like aboki Fx will pay through there nose because the Nigeria constitution didn't give them the permission to be given what price of naira or anything currency should be.only the CBN has that constitutional permission .Is abokifx paying tax if I may ask.
You guys just hate anything progress about your country.after una don spoil am u will travel outside the shores of Nigeria and quickly abide by all the rules and regulations of such country because everyone knows anyone can do anything in Nigeria and go free unpunished. All the anyhow attitude definitely is what is pushing Nigeria backward

You just keep spewing bullshit. Where and when did binance fix price of naira?
P2P traders on binance sell their coins at the prevalent dollar rate, how is that the fault of binance?
Will anyone sell dollar at $1 to #1500 if the rate at the black market is $1 to #1000? Instead of asking your government to sit up you're joining them in their blame games

You say we hate progress but it's still us who force the government to, at least, attempt to perform. People like you just swallow every nonsense from them without thinking, and to you, that's how to be a good Nigerian.

Abeg shift!

Continue to detain them till the prizes of dollar goes down....

A lot of Nigerians has suffered because of their greediness..

You are so gullible, that is what they made you believe, you could easily be brainwashed. If that be the case, Binance has already dropped its P2P operations in NGN. And detaining a Binance Executive unlawfully wont bring that back. That is why we keep retrogressing as a nation, we wΓ nt investors, we want to grow the economy yet we chase them. An economy is not all about exchange rate, it is about production and how do you turn a country productive wheΓ± you chase away investors.

be confusing urself.where did I mention Binance fixing naira even though I try not to be controversial Abt it.let me ask a simple yes or no question.is Binance legally registered in Nigeria ? And when you are done answering that one then ask urself again if it was in US they are unregistered entity what will be the penalty for operating with no registration.
Back to naira fixing .u brought up the issue of abokifx and I asked if it is a legal entity in Nigeria and if so are they paying tax .yes or no questions u are convulsing up n down.

Like I HV said, na Nigeria dey allow nonsense happen for over here.mention a serious country they allow black market sale of there currency if not in Nigeria.
When I see enemy of Nigeria speak I know one and when Govt is fucking up , we point it out too.ppl that were jubulating and telling people to illegally keep there dollars till naira get to 2500 or 3k/dollar can't be considered as a patriot.where things are working and done normally such people are tagged enemy of the Nation.

this must be a very stupid woman!but who should be blamed if not those in charge of crimes and giving special treatments to foreigners that ruined our economy?men that should be jail but detained in mansions and allowing one of them to #escape!that nothing has happened and heads are not already rolling about the so called escape means some sort of connivance somehow!!

Now let me also ask you corresponding question similar to those I highlighted:
Is Nairaland registered in Nigeria?
Is Facebook registered in Nigeria
Is TicTok registered in Nigeria?
Is Alibaba and Aliexpress registered in Nigeria?
There are thousands if not millions of website thar offer one service or the other to Nigerians and collect payments from Nigerians, how many of them are registered in Nigeria?

Binance was not the only website offering P2P service to Nigerians in the crypto space. There are others like OKX and Kucoin that still allow naira to be traded on their platform till this very second. Why is Ribabu not issuing warrant of arrest for all their executives?

So you see the issue is not with binance itself but with our laws. Instead of you to attack your legislative for doing nothing but approving budgets, allowances and constituency projects, instead of passing laws to regulate and tax internet companies doing business in with Nigerians, you are attacking Binance just taking advantage of Nigeria's lax laws.

like I said when I need to blame political class, I will and when I need to blame another set of people causing problems for Nigeria I will too.u choose to address some aspect of the discussion.i asked name a serious country that allow black market trading of it's currency .like I said earlier na only Nigeria dey allow nonsense happen over here.because majority of it's citizens just want want anything that will benefit them despite harming the system as long as they benefit from it.
Binance is culpable in the since that criminals starting from the political class to some others are using it's platform to swindle the country of forex.
Thanks for your honest analysis sir unlike the other person that was just using insulting words.

The tax laws of Nigeria already adequately provide that any company or person earning profit from Nigeria or through activities in Nigeria is liable to tax. As a result, Internet companies based wherever in the world earning profit from Nigeria are liable to tax in Nigeria. As is the case in most countries of the world.

The question would really be about the quantum to determine the relevance. What I mean by this is that the little profit made by one obscure website can be easily ignored, but the massive profits made by major internet companies should not be ignored. Regrettably our government and leaders are so inept that they dont even go there, and so focused on the theft of petrodollars that they think of little else.

I can list many multinationals that even operate physically on the ground in Nigeria and do not pay a penny of tax.

They should release these guys
If the govt is having issues with binance, let them deal directly with the founder, not detaining the employees. This is not right & it is an abuse on their fundamental human right. It doesn't portray the country in a good image to foreign investors
