The people doing the selective outrage come from a particular ethnic stock, many even went as far as praying for the AirPeace planes to crash! receipts are all over X revealing how vile these people are.

Meanwhile the management team of AirPeace has 5 of their people out of 7...

Our blodas from erosion region are the ones spreading fake news about outrage.

Nobody cares about any upholstery materials they wear as uniforms.

Air peace belongs to GEJ.
We will all patronise it

Who do u expect to be outraged by this??

Of course it's the fellows from the waste.

Bolded may be wrong.

Timubu is a business man. He goes for where the business is profitable. Tinubu must have used govt's power to enhance the Air Peace breakthrough to London.
See Tinubu's Aviation Minister explaining the breakthrough, as he was wearing Papilo cap like Ochanga market trader.

For proper perspective, can you post at least six of the negative comments about the attire from this particular ethnic group. Let’s see the negative tweets you guys are responding to because some of us can’t really see them.

I just saw that insidious screenshot. There's NO evidence that the person that posted that on X is a Yoruba because there are trolls and fake accounts on X and other online platforms. So, quit making inflammatory and generalized statements. Yoruba folks are over 50 million strong in population in Nigeria (and are indigenous to Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, etc) and out of that huge number would be folks flying right in and out of Gatwick Airport every week... just like it used to be done when we flew from Lagos into Gatwick Airport and back in the early 1980s to late 1980s on the iconic British Caledonian.

Second, Onyeama's wife is a Hausa woman and there are pilots and airhostess with the airline who are of Yoruba descent and from other ethnicities. Even Festus Keyamo's mother is a Yoruba woman from Ogun State and his father is Urhobo, and Festus was very enthusiastic in the video interview I just watched. Festus NEVER hides the fact that his mother is Yoruba and his Yoruba name is Adeniyi.

Third, I read an interview in Punch online where Onyeama gave credit to a Yoruba professional in the aviation industry who made it possible for things to go on smoothly at the initial stage of setting up his airline. He emphasized this to show that there is unity in diversity.
what's the essence of this epistle?

Some Nigerians and their bad belle.
You want them to wear agbada Abi Nigerian flag?
No outrage when tinubu dons his tribal dressing in his official visits to Dubai, London, France etc.
I bet you if it's a tribe's airline no one would mind if they wear their attire.
This is Sheer hypocrisy.

Why is it hard for people to learn lessons. A people you've been hating since before independence and they are still progressing more than u , even helping to lift u.

Thank you Onyeama for giving them sleepless nights.

Exactly. There is no outrage anywhere. All the tweets I’ve seen about the attire are from Igbo handles trying to make an issue out of nothing. I barely saw two or three tweets complaining about the attire but I’ve seen over 1k tweets trying to defend whatever it is they are defending.

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no Yoruba person that is outraged by the attire. When next I’m going to London, I will fly Air Peace because it’s a Nigerian brand. Im completely cool with the attire. What matters is safety and a smooth flight to UK.
the Yoruba people outraged about the attire are all on Twitter ranting. Lagospedia on Twitter is the arrow head behind the outrage

Hmmmm.

Beyond the lack of originality in it because there's nothing authentic about putting the face of an animal on a fabric , it's not a mythical animal like dragon used by the Chinese or Santa claus story in the red of Christmas, I don't see any need for outrage. Congrats to Air Peace.

I am happy that it's a Nigerian brand and we love our fellow patriotic Nigerians of Igbo extraction so we celebrate together in love and unity.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

I am a full blooded Yoruba guy and I see no reason for any reasonable person to condemn the choice of isiagwu as the uniform for the hostesses.

Be it Nigerian government owned or privately owned, the uniform on projects the beauty of Nigerian culture.

I am totally in support of this innovative branding.

The fuulishness in d average igb* is legendary.
So, bcus a few ppl expressed their opinion it has become ''yorubas are attacking air peace''??

So when Kanu was asking his boys to attack kumuyi, soldiers, Tinubu, sanwoolu etc, we can likwise say "Igbos are asking for Yorubas to be killed'' right?

Just had a look at your posting history, clearly a fake account used to stir up tribal BS.

What you said doesn't even make sense, isn't funny and quite frankly, you suppose enter house.

To clarify things with you, Ndigbo are the most service oriented people in the whole world, sure they have a few bad eggs but on the whole, their trading acumen and structure is second to none.

There is nothing wrong with the costume, I myself think it's great. If I was him I would have hired Atilogwu dancers to welcome the first flight into Gatwick airport.

What is unprofessional about what they wore, it is a unique and businesslike attire.

Kudos to the Air Peace management, the clothing is a tasteful nod to the ancestry of their Chairman who put it all together.

Prejudice indeed, you are using words whose true meanings you don't know, go siddon abeg

Chief is giving nobody sleepness nights, everyone is happy for him apart from one or two miscreants who will always be unfortunate in life.

An Obidient with little going for him in this life except to watch others progress and find ways to spawn a tribal war over it started this thread.

Ndi Yoruba, Ndi Benin and Ndigbo that I know are overjoyed at this venture, especially the ones based in the UK.

Chief's management team is overwhelmingly staffed with Ndi Yoruba, going by the hierarchy posted on here, so he is clearly detribalised and you might want to learn from that lack of tribalism if you want to do well in life like him.

You have stated it succinctly using dialectic methodology here. Thanks for summing things up.

There's a whole lot of over sensationalism on the part of those bigots driving that hate story online just to guilt trip Yoruba folks. Nobody will fall for that and Yoruba folks will definitely fly to Gatwick Airport via Air Peace.

Cheers.

Your (plural) anti-yoruba default settings is oozing out.
You keep on creating enemies for yourselves where there's none.

1. Let's assume its true that some ppl who happened to be Yorubas expressed their thots on the issue, so the opinions of a few Yorubas has bcum the opinions of 50 million Yorubas such that the whole yoruba has to be dragged??

2. I can bet my life that there are other ppl from other tribes who also expressed similar opinions, but bcus they aren't Yorubas, it doesn't count. It's only when it's a yoruba commenter that it counts, even if just one.
Can you bet your life and the life of your child/children that someone from another tribe did not express his/her misgivings about the attire?

3. If we are to use the same judgement, we can also say Igbos are asking for the killings/attack of yoruba leaders/yoruba land when nnamdi Kanu asked his minions to attack kumuyi, Adeboye, Tinubu, sanwoolu, Lagos State etc.
