Addressing the challenges of out of school children is a task that needed all hands on desks.

The Education secretary Jaba local government Dr. Joshua Danjuma said this at a one day seminar on out of school children organized by Caleb Danladi foundation a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kwoi.

The Education secretary Jaba local government is working towards achieving zero percent out of school children by 2025..

The ES, Dr Joshua Danjuma said Jaba local government has about five point give percent prevalence of out of school children in kaduna state adding that the council is working towards achieving zero percent out of school children by 2025.

He commended the Caleb Danladi foundation for the initiative and assured that the local government would collaborate with the foundation in addressing the prevalence of out of school in the area.

Dr Joshua Said the government is also committed towards providing conducive atmosphere for education to strive in the area.

In a presentation, the guest speaker.
Mrs Alice Shagaya said lack of education is one of the factors responsible for some of the vices and criminalities faced in the country today as many of the youths that engage on these immoral acts did not go to school.

Mrs Alice Shagaya who is the principal ECWA Christian girls academy kwoi said although available data has shown that Jaba local government area has only five point five percent of out of school children there is need for all hands to be on deck towards achieving zero percent out of school children in the area.

The educationist commended the Caleb Danladi foundation for the commitment towards addressing the challenge of out of school children in Jaba local government area and urged other wealthy individuals and groups to emulate for a free out of school society.

She also lauded the efforts of the kaduna state and Jaba local governments toward providing quality and affordable education.

Earlier the founder of the NGO, Mr Caleb Danladi Bako said out of school children constitute great nuisance to the society hence the need to complement government efforts in address the menace of out of school children for a better society.

Caleb Danladi who expressed concern over the current insecurity bedevilling the country was optimistic that if the rate of out of schools is addressed the situation would reduce.

Caleb who later met with representatives of Muslims community in Jaba local government area congratulates them for the ongoing Ramadan fast and urged them to used the period form sober reflection.

While announcing a cash donation to assist them in during the fasting Mr Caleb also promised to support them towards the development of one of the islamiya schools in Kwoi.

Meanwhile, the chief of Badebin Jemaa local government area, Mr. Iliya Daniel has called for the provision of basic amenities needed to improve the well-being of the people in the chiefdom.


The royal Father who was speaking when he received the founder of Caleb Danladi foundation on a courtesy visit in his palace expressed concern on the absent of development projects in the chiefdom
He commended Caleb Danladi foundation for enrolling some less privilege persons from the chiefdom into the health insurance scheme free and thanked him for the visit.
