Understanding Bitget's Protection Fund: Keeping Your Crypto Safe by XTRAVAGANZA: 2:18pm On Apr 05
Bitget's Protection Fund, launched in August 2022, is like a big savings account to keep users' money safe in case anything goes wrong. It's one of the biggest in the crypto world and is there to protect people from things like hackers and sudden changes in the market.

This fund is special because it's not controlled by anyone else outside Bitget. It's like having your own shield that works quickly without needing permission from anyone else.
To make sure it's strong, the fund invests in different types of digital money like Bitcoin, USDT, and USDC, which are easy to turn into cash if needed.

In February, the fund grew steadily and reached its highest value ever at over $543 million. Now, in March 2024, it's still doing well, fluctuating between $540 million and $612 million, which shows it's strong and can handle changes in the market.
