Leo Nkeaka, an Ibusa Politician, Donates N2 Million to Constituents By Emeka Esogbue In a recent act of generosity, Leo Nkeaka, a well-known politician, businessman, and real estate agent from Ibusa, donated two million naira to 100 individuals in Ward 8 of the Umueze Quarters in the Ibusa community. When contacted by PEN MASTER, Hon. Nkeaka, who is also referred to as "Ohamadike" in the community, explained that his actions were aimed at supporting the people and reducing the level of suffering in society. He expressed his ongoing commitment to giving back to the underprivileged members of society, including widows, the impoverished, and the needy. It was discovered that this philanthropic initiative started back in 2007 when Hon. Nkeaka contested and won the councilorship election in the community, a position he held until 2011. This initiative has now continued for approximately 17 years. Hon. Leo Nkeaka, a popular youth figure in local politics, was appointed a Supervisory Councilor in 2014 and received praise for his excellent performance. In addition to his political involvement, he established a successful real estate business called Lion-Xty Genuine and Comfort Global Properties, located in the state capital, Asaba. According to Nkeaka, this initiative represents his idealized version of public assistance, aimed at helping the local community. During this year's gathering, many individuals from various backgrounds came out to support Hon. Leo Nkeaka, praising him for his dedication to giving back to the people. One beneficiary described him as a passionate giver and a pragmatic and dynamic politician who believes in serving his people, regardless of whether he holds a political position or not. Some of the beneficiaries listed in the Ward 8 Easter empowerment support program include Kanayo Uzu, Emmanuel Ofili, Chukwudi Anansa, Mrs. Onyeisi Okolu, Mrs. Ngozi Chigbue Okolie, India Abuah, Ifeanyi Ajudua Brekete, Patience Chiamuya, Mrs. Nkechi Etokwu, Mr. Uche Ngalia, Mrs. Maifo Nkadi, Nwakaji Njoagwani, and many others. Hon. Leo Nkeaka was born into the Nkeaka family of Umueze in Ibusa, Delta State, and has worked alongside various local and national politicians throughout his career.
