Why Is It So Difficult To Close A Bank Account In Nigeria by CentralBank(m): 7:26pm On Apr 06 |
I've discovered that closing a bank account is a big deal in Nigeria. The bankers will frown and refer you to the marketing unit, who will then give you a thousand reasons why you shouldn't close the account. They will ask you to write to the manager of the branch where you opened the account, but the application never goes through. I don't see the need having too many accounts. Does anyone know the best and fastest approach to close a bank account in Nigeria? Ironically, my Monika is CentralBank |
