Bank managers are the real scammers. When a Yahoo boy expects a hit of 1.5M Naira and he offers a manager half of the money to clear the sum — of course the one with the job of securing legal funds is the real crook there. Some managers have up to 20 Yahoo boys greasing their palms. Illegal funds are tempting enough to make suit and ties risk their freedom. Add their other means of making quick money: stealing customers’ saving to run quick loans, redirecting people’s interests into their accounts and pilfering unclaimed accounts of deceased customers.
