Wahala. This mean they have been extorting Nigerians

Exactly the poiiiiinttttt.

Even at that amount they are still extorting us.
I read a documentary about apple/iphone prices someone and there were complains that those companies are overpricing their products to the consumers.
The problem is, there was barely competition that's why these guys hike their prices.

If apple/iphone sales decline, they can slash their prices and still make cool money.

If that is the case why was d price so high before Airpeace came on board?
That's to show how those airline operators have been extorting people.

It reminds me one day I wanted to take a public transport to Aba from ilorin, other transport companies charges 28k and a friend introduced me to a company that charges 13k. The hummer busses loads about 5 buses daily to Aba and are all neat and new buses.
Then I asked myself why then do others charge 28k?
The answer is greed ...extortion

One is a direct flight, the other involves a stop over.
It's expected for the direct flight to be more expensive.
Compare prices between airlines that do direct flights like Virgin, BA

Nothing unusual

If Nigerians make the mistake of not purchasing air peace. You will forever remain cash cow for foreign airline. Don't be fooled by price differences. This is the time to suppose air peace with your last kobo. I was looking at Ghana few miles from Lagos £425. Very soon air peace will reduce their prices too. Right Nigerian air Peace needs your support. It won't go down in my time.

It's not necessarily about being patriotic, the prices don't compare. Air Peace will remain fully booked in advance. Most regular or occasional travelers won’t want to stay at Addis Ababa airport for 10hrs waiting for their connecting flight, in order to save about £200

Competition is healthy in every country, monopoly is a disease. DSTV is a perfect example.
I know one day we will get out of this

And those naive emotional brainless twats called you names without understanding your point of view.
No be everywhere ibo sense they work, other airlines will do anything to kick airpeace out then hike their prices. I pray airpeace wins 🏆

Bros see it is the foreign airline that will lose out. Air peace has the advantage of being a local airline so repatriation of funds will not be an issue. So they can still reduce price. The foreign companies have shareholders who may not find the price reduction funny considering the risk profile of Nigeria.

Other airlines can afford to be running loss on Nigeria-London route while using other routes to balance up their marginal profits but can airpeace afford to run at lost? Truth is, airpeace showed her cards at the beginning of the game which is a wrong move.

Do you know how many destinations Ethiopian airline fly? Trust me, you don't wanna know. Airpeace is just a small fry.

who told you they are running at a loss? how much is return ticket London-New York?
what is wrong with you guys? go and fly Ethiopia and leave those who want to go Lagos-Gatwick direct for low cost, to fly Air Peace.
it's a simple something.

Even Onyema would go for a cheaper option when he sees one. So I will say because I want to buy Nigeria, I will buy something of 1m when I can pay less and save 300k for the other option. Guy, you are being unrealistic jorr..

Nigeria constantly avails citizens of other countries of the opportunity to be shamelessly horrible, greedy and evil...because it's what we are by default

There isn't any price war here. How do you compare a 16hour flight with a 6 hour one?

This matter be like MTN and Econet before Glo enter market. N50.00/min was the lowest rate that time. Then we beg them say give us per/sec, MTN them talk say impossible. You call for 1 sec like this, na N50.00 them go comot quick quick. But when Glo enter am for market with per/sec billing, with lower rate join, them change mouth. Abegi Nigerians no gree for them o, support Air Peace. If we fail this time, them go show us shege.
