Jostoman: You are not sincere ,kobo, this man! Did you read OBJ book ' My Watch'. I pity your generation and I suspect you are doing this because of your elections loss of your Principal,so truth in this wise is difficult ingredient to swallow for you! Do you know the seriousness of the Economic Advantages to the Nigeria as a whole, that Atiku and his meanion is trying to find- fault with because they see that Projects as a Southern turning point? Anyway, the Senators have gone on their monitoring, may be you can continuously join them! You better get sense! |

CoronaVirusPro: Lemme remind you one thing.. voting for someone does not mean you have defend him at all cost. When he does something good, you commend him if he does something bad, you criticise him. Any prime minister who performs bad in the UK will step down asap. This is the reason Margret thatcher remains one of the greatest if not the greatest prime minister of the UK because she fought for the peoples interest. |

Believeintruth: Do you have Naval Officer friends at Naval College Onne or Custom Officer friends at Onne Ports Complex during Obasanjo era and Yaradua / Jonathan era? Atiku is not fleecing you but he made more money from INTEL Logistics deals than the money required to complete the Lagos Calabar Highway Project . 1 Like |

onecansee: Mwalimu - teacher Nyerere with Nigeria's leaders. If those you showed up there had 10% of Mwalimu's intelligence and statesman's traits; Nigeria would have been united today for nationhood, not remain a country held together by proceeds from crude oil. Your lot commenced massacre of southeastern Nigerians right after the amalgamation of the south and north of Nigeria in 1914. |

I already told people about this. Sometimes, moving within or along the corridor or power dey make person see things. Chagoury brothers are more Nigerians than Lebanese these days. They did things for Babangida before moving on to Abacha, and then Jagaban. How on earth did they award a project at the first FCC meeting when new ministers just came on board. I said it but nobody cared. No bidding, no tender, no nothing. As I wan believe say Umahi go do well, that alone don turn everything on its head. Make I just keep kwayet before dem go dey read my name for news after DSS don dey deal with person pikin Juliusganduje: 1 Like |

Afromalaika: Don't mind him. It is the IBOs that will suffer it. The most painful thing is that majority of the Yorubas don't know IBOs are very ungrateful and selfish. This project is a legacy project . There is another one from Badagry to the North. Yaradua/Jonathan government embezzled estimated $100 billion dollars without awarding the project. The only legacy project of Obasanjo was the OLOKOLA LNG project which Obasanjo unintelligently started at dying minutes of his government. Yaradua came and killed it. Atiku never said anything about Ajaokuta Kaduna Kano gas pipeline project, he never said anything about railway line to Maradi and other projects and high level corruption and disbursement of funds to farmers without any return. Again, it is the IBOS that are pushing him. Atiku does not have a moral ground to challenge the project under the difficult situation Tinubu inherited the government. He talked about inability of HITECH to complete Lekki Ajah road. Is he the one that awarded the contract? Is he the one that obstructed the project? HITECH reconstructed Airport Road to Oshodi when FG abandoned it for years. The Apapa Oshodi concrete road was constructed by HITECH / Dangote . Till date we are all witnesses to the quality of these projects. Obasanjo trusted Yaradua on Sango Otta and Abeokuta road and OLOKOLA LNG project he was disappointed. Atiku should not allow himself to be used against this project as it is already too late for him. 1 Like 1 Share |

Atiku is making valid points. Public funds requires transparent expense analysis. If it is PPP, why budget government funds and why award to your business partners firms without bidding process from Bureau of Public Enterprise? Why not award the contracts to multiples of companies to implement simulteneously? 1 Like |

Believeintruth: You're are loss already in Atiku propaganda, who's constructing Lekki Epe? Do you even know d progress of the road before Atiku fallacious claim, trying to link Alphabet and number together to justify nonsense. Minister didn't dodge anything, the question asked by Seun was different question, why did Atiku not write jargons about Third Milan Bridge, the contract was initially awarded to Julius berger before it was reviewed and bidding was done and awarded to CCEC. He's crying because Hitec is handling the road, let Atiku bring money and construct it, we have alot of roads to be constructed let him bring money to d table wether government will not give him, this is the same man milking government for years with his company at the port. Saying Lagos don't publish their budget means you are not following Government programs. Go to Lagos government website wether u will not find their budget there. Where do you think Funsho Doherty find what he criticised Sanwo-Olu about? Even Incompetent GRV accusing government of funding APC tribunal case in their budget. |

Sentiments apart, Atiku is making real sense here. Tinubu must be made accountable and transparent in his handling of our commonwealth. He can't afford to run his administration like a private/personal enterprise. He is the President of Nigeria, no doubt but, definitely not the owner of Nigeria like his famous Bourdillon enclave. @hotseat |

CoronaVirusPro: So, because you feel he didn't make name for himself, he should keep quiet and watch impunity continue under our nose. One thing most people forget is that every Nigerians especially those at home will suffer same consequences of corruption. If this continues unabated, exchange rate will tripple and we both knows the consequences. Many people will loose their jobs. |

When people were jubilating on the news of thr Coastal road and i read that it was given to HiTec without any competitive bidding, I knew Tinubu was planning a big cash out at the expense of Nigerians. Let me tell you what will happen. That road will not be completed, it will most likely end at Lekki Free Trade Zone and it will be tolled. That section(1st phase) of road is the only lucrative part of the road as it connects the Eko Atlantic city to another commercial hub of Lagos where there will be a port a refinery an airport and other major commercial set ups. The remaining part from Epe to Calabar na jungle, nobody will pay a toll, they will prefer to take the existing Lagos Benin road that is currently untolled than pay a toll, so it will be abandoned. The reason that project is broken into phases and the haste in implementing the 1st phase. It was never discussed openly nor thrown open to a competitive bidding. After the 1st phase is finished, there will be a lot of noise about the tolling from the citizens and the FG will offer to buy it back from Hitec(aka the Chagourys) at an exorbitant price....money will be moved abroad and shared by the thieves disguising as leaders and their Lebanese partners. Same as it happened to LCC Lekki Toll gates.....Nigerians no know wetin dem enter... Atiku is right on this one...even though he is an okiri(king of thieves)himself 3 Likes 1 Share |

stanluiz:the right place to start the project will always be Lagos even if debated a thousand times. Of what use will the project be if it started from Calabar and remained useless till it gets to Lagos. Nigerians will start ripping the benefit of the road at every kilometer completed from Lagos. |
