The news of her passing spread through local radio stations in Kano, causing shockwaves in the entertainment community of Kano State. Daso died in her sleep in the early hours of Tuesday after the midnight meal before the commencement of the day’s Ramadan fast (Sahur). Her family members confirmed the news.
