It’s been eight months and one week since a failed elevator killed Vwaere Diaso, a medical doctor at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos State. FIJ can confirm that the elevator has neither been fixed nor replaced. https://fij.ng/article/confirmed-8-months-after-lagos-govt-yet-to-fix-elevator-that-killed-doctor-in-odan-general-hospital/ 5 Likes 2 Shares

This is Nigeria! Infrastructural decay KILLED a young Doctor and no one faced any consequences. Everybody is going about their lives like NOTHING happened. This is another reason people FLEE this hellhole. In a country like US, work place hazards like these would have incited a serious of lawsuits against the government. Some to the tune of millions of Dollars for the benefit of the family of the deceased. Paying through the nose for negligence would have motivated the government to gear up and FIX the issue. Imagine taking OVER 8 months to fix ORDINARY elevator. If Julius Berger won't do it ASAP, take the contract to someone who will. Every SANE person should be working to leave Nigeria. 31 Likes 5 Shares |

There is no dignity or respect for human life in Nigeria. The politicians will just loot us dry and the project they refused to build will be killing people. Yet we the citizens will just be fighting each other. If you have the means, japa and go and leave in a better society. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

Well well well... Here is a part of the world where life's value is nothing next to a cow's dung's. It's a place where NEGLIGIENCE pervades the air until one's directly affected and gets caught in the web of the situation. I wonder what would've happened if the SHOES had fitted somebody else! Honestly, mm* I think it's hightime we moved forward by totally cutting off these avoidable occurences that can be achieved through selflessness, honesty, dedication and contentment plus *patroitism ! BUT Never! Yeye GREED to embezzle no go gree ddem. 3 Likes |

Arobaga: Tell your igbos to go drink the natural resources in your land then? Why did you leave all your natural resources and came to Lagos to become nuisances. Your skull seems to be devoid of a brain. . And by the way, this same Lagos is richer than all your regions combined generating the highest revenue for the country even 'without a single drop of natural resources' all your wealthy people are living-off Lagos. Lagos is the dream land for all your people...but you open your stinking mouth and say trash online. . No government is perfect and I believe the media like this is meant to checkmate them. But abeg no dey ever compare Lagos to your slums in your entire miserable life again. . You can't even work nor live comfortably in your slums, unknown gunmen and your Ekpa thugs are beheading you guys anyhow claiming to fight the FG, you ran to Lagos like a common criminal but you get the bad mouth to insult that city? How many of your slums have an inter-city metro to start with? Lagos alone has two. As someone based outside Nigeria but not a Lagosian, I post beautiful videos of advancements and the skyline of Lagos on my WhatsApp status all the time. My white friends are always surprised Nigeria is that beautiful. If only they knew the only place in Nigeria with such beautiful facilities and skyline is Lagos. . But I am glad Nigeria has a city like Lagos. . So oga...grow some brains before participating in online discussions. . All these kids wey dey wake their papa from sleep with foot kicks seff 11 Likes 3 Shares |
