Please, NYSC posted me to bandit ravaged Niger state. Though I only want to camp there and redploy, I am concerned if the road from Lagos to Paiko, Niger state is safe to and fro.

Please, inputs needed urgently.

Only a handful of the local communities is insecure. Shiroro and co. If you are traveling from Lagos, you will likely pass through Mokwa and Bida. Or are you traveling through Lokoja and Abuja? Any of the routes is okay. No security challenges are existing on those roads.
