Beware of Fake Solar Panel Dealers on Instagram: Exposing FAKE @kaizen gaming and solar gadget. In the age of digital commerce and social media, it's become increasingly common for scammers to impersonate legitimate businesses and dupe unsuspecting customers. Recently, there have been reports of fraudulent activities involving fake solar panel dealers on Instagram, particularly those operating under the handle @sola.rplus. It's crucial to be aware of their deceptive tactics to protect yourself and others from falling victim to their scams. ### How They Operate The fake solar panel dealers behind @sola.rplus on Instagram lure potential customers with enticing offers and affordable prices for solar generators. Upon contacting them via direct message (DM), they redirect customers to communicate through WhatsApp using the number +234 810 791 5244. This is where their elaborate scheme begins to unfold. Once on WhatsApp, they present various types of solar generators at seemingly discounted rates, such as 300 watts for N55,000 and 1500 watts for N105,000. To further legitimize their operation, they send a link for customers to register their address and place their orders. However, this is where the trap is set. The link provided contains multiple account numbers for payment. Customers are instructed to make payments to one of these accounts. Subsequently, they receive an invoice with a fake installer number (07061251354) to create an illusion of authenticity. To add another layer of deception, they pose as a third party named "KAIZEN GAMING AND SOLAR GADGET," falsely associating themselves with the reputable solar company Solar Plus. ### Warning to the Public It's imperative to warn the general public about these fraudulent activities and fake dealers masquerading as legitimate businesses. Their modus operandi involves exploiting the trust of unsuspecting customers, promising affordable solar solutions but delivering nothing in return. As a precautionary measure, individuals seeking to purchase solar panels or any related products should exercise due diligence. Always verify the authenticity of the company through official channels, such as their website, contact information, and customer reviews. Avoid making payments or sharing personal information with unknown entities on social media platforms without proper verification. Furthermore, if you encounter suspicious accounts like @sola.rplus or similar entities engaging in dubious practices, report them to the respective platform immediately. By raising awareness and staying vigilant, we can collectively combat online fraud and protect consumers from falling prey to such scams. The original owner of the brand SOLA PLUS should take proactive steps to inform and safeguard potential clients against these scammers who are exploiting their name for fraudulent activities on the internet.
