Air Peace will become greater in Nigeria only if certain group in the country can stop their senseless noise...the same noise that hasn't gotten them to anywhere. I'm also very disappointed with the way the Air Peace CEO has degraded himself and his product. A SERIOUS businessman clearly understands the importance of unity, respect and harmony among all people, who are supposed to be his customers...Promoting Air peace airline (business) as an Igbo thing is suicidal. The CEO should pay more attention to all other incredible businessmen around the country and tap into their intelligent method of operation... and pay less attention to the noise makers that hate everything and everyone.
The last thing the Air peace CEO needs is folks seeing his product as a Biafra product. He should stay focused, embrace our country, Nigeria, respect all people and support any current administration to make the country better.... And sky will be the limit.

After the eight years of Jagaban if a Kogi man becomes the president, their next project will be Kogi people and the president.....

There may be reasons unknown that caused the fire warning and the observed smoke but it seems after investigation there is no risk of fire in the engines. It would be a bird or significant debris entered the turbine of the engine and was briefly burnt clean out.

Sensors go bad. What of the smoke that was observed? Was it a false smoke too? Something definitely went wrong. They are just trying to allay fears. However kudos to the flying crew for adhering to safety warnings.

Safety first. The landing is a demonstration of professionalism. A delayed or cancelled flight is better than a plane crash.
So, an aeroplane can give such a false alarm?

Of course it can, but it is extremely rare. If a sensor fails, it can happen and it is better to get a false alarm than not to get an alarm when there really is a fire.

Pilot inside plane noticed fire alarm, Fire fighter on on the ground outside the plane noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment but Airline officials who were probably at home when it occurred are saying it was a false notification? Flying in Nigerian airspace is trusting solely in GOD. Those trying to make this a tribal affair most probably, haven’t ever seen an airport.
