Can you be above the average Nigerian?
I was listening to 99.3 Nig Info radio, and the guy mentioned that he can't
even remember any recent PATRIOTIC NATIONALIST in this country anymore.
Everybody has defaulted to facing their own tribe. And that is very bad for leadership of
a nation having 500 other tribes.
We need people who are TOTALLY detribalised to lead this particular nation, Nigeria.
British are foreigners. So automatically, they were detribalised.
But now we need a native born Nigerian to be detribalised AND others will copy him
to also be detribalised. That's the only way this nation can work.
Otherwise, YOU TOO are not different from our useless leaders.

You may be right

Some of us don't have generators and don't want the noice and fumes that comes from it either.Living in darkness is our way of life and we have accepted it in this huge behemoth called Nigeria.Let the prices of food commodities be reduced,so we can feed our loved ones. That is the barest minimum request we are seeking for now.

Why can't they purchase solar panels and batteries? Why waste so much on fuel?

I'm talking about those who need electricity to run their business.

You think it's cheap, a very good battery for Solar cost roughly 1m before, and that's like around 2015, now how much will it cost??

then you had to buy panels and Inverter , and you are asking small busin6owners why can't they buy it

So they don't have gallons? This is very stressful and expensive to carry around from your home.
Re: Fuel Scarcity: Generators Take Over Nigerian Filling Station by Dynamicboss: 8:42pm On May 02
Nigeria is the only country in this world facing consistence fuel scarcity, abysmal power supply and total collapse of economic and infrastructural development.

The only place lower than Nigeria is Hell.

So much unnecessary suffering for Nigerians.

Or could this suffering be necessary for some Nigerians?

No that's not the case here, the fuel stations refuse to sell in gallons, because it's believed you'd resell as black market
Macnnoli4:
Wahala. I guess a time comes when buying a 4 litres gallon isn't enough, so you bring the whole generator.
Re: Fuel Scarcity: Generators Take Over Nigerian Filling Station by Oxygen1998: 9:16pm On May 02
Speak for yourself. I work in one and we've paid more than 2 billion in claims this year alone.
Oringo1:

Run as fast as you can from anything called Insurance Company in Nigeria..They don't pay claims.

Example..IGI INSURANCE COMPANY

It’s not about Tinubu or any past leader. It’s about us; black Africans. We don’t have the mental capacity to handle a lot of things. The tragedy is that we know we have this problem but wokeness won’t allow us admit it.

The problem is with humans, you and I. Back then when God was selecting leaders, didn't they turn out to be bad leaders in the end. Look at Saul, look at David.
Human needs to do better, we need to start loving the next neighbour like it's our brother/sister.
Peter Obi is definitely not the answer to Nigeria's prayer!!!
I agreed with everything you said except your mentioning of Peter Obi. He might not be the ultimate Messiah but he will surely do better than the set of entities we have steering the affairs of our nation at this critical moment.

I don't subscribe to blanket generalization.
I'm a Yoruba and I'm a Peter Obi supporter. Some Igbos supported Tinubu too.

Imagine Nigeria had natural disasters... We'd have gone extinct as a country. Not kidding.
Even ordinary snow and we'd have all frozen to death.

I still don't understand why you care so much after saying you don't care expect for yourself and your family. Mind you, Tinubu has 4 solid years to make a difference and very much another 4 years by the special grace of God.

See let me tell you. Some people have turned millionaires from this fuel scarcity. My point is, life is an irony. What is a misfortune to some is actually a fortune to another. Like I already said, it's a phase and a very short one. With all sincerity, when last was there such scarcity since Tinubu became President.

So, people gaming the system is an achievement to you? Nice, you're wise.

God has helped Nigeria o.
No natural disaster
Good climate
Ample land for agriculture
Large enough country
No earthquake, tsunami, monsoon or excessive flooding.

The only thing Nigeria lacks is LEADERSHIP.

So, don't disturb God to help Nigeria. He won't come down from heaven to do what our common sense should do.
Copy and paste. grin

bros, better face reality, Nigeria is sick, bubu actually messed up the national economy, while tinubu made mistakes while trying to repair it, through over - zealousness , now he looks confused because his strategy is simply not working, against his earlier expectations.
The Nigeria economy is now on a free fall under tinubu's confused leadership, better prepare yourself for any more tough eventualities, instead of deluding yourself with false hope of an utopian tomorrow, that will never come.

Oga things are already returning to normal as regards fuel scarcity. No more long queues like the past few days and filling stations are beginning to sell at stipulated price.
