I am a core Obi supporter, even though I don't like to get involved in some madness that happens online. However, I want to be objective and fair to Tinubu on this one.

One thing you need to understand is that agriculture has never been a priority in Lagos State. You need to visit Lagos and see how fully utilised the small state is.

Is it your land that big companies and real estate developers will be pricing you for 500 million that you want to waste on agriculture? A significant fraction of the food Lagosians eat come from neighbouring states, north and SS/SE (especially palm oil). No land for agriculture; even Lagos rice is grown in the north.

That's why at some point Lagos State government under Tunde Fashola was acquiring land from Ogun State for agricultural purposes.

That being said, it doesn't exonerate Tinubu from being a monumental failure as governor whose major legacy was leaving behind his Lagos State master plan and taking the credit for the projects in it when his successors started executing them
