123yes:Stop been childish.. All those stupid Igbo you people always claim to be a developers came from nothing and became something in lagos. Let them pack their goods back to trench let see if their customers nationwide will follow them their. Yoruba tolerance is what brought about lagos developments not Igbos claiming to be developers. Almost all wealthy Nigerian have property in lagos because Yorubas are not concerned with the fruit of your labour. They'll hail you, you can employ them as whatever you want in their state/region and they don't mind. Wealthy igboman in the north cannot treat Almajiri anyhow. I swear, the igboman go collect. So you guys should start giving the respect and credit to Yorubas. |

If you don't know the game by now,you should return your school certificate:soon they would go to markets or areas populated by a certain tribe, mop some of them up,dump them by the niger bridge and claim they are jobless, homeless people that pleaded to be relocated to their home states and cite this initial deportation as evidence that it's not ethnic linked. |

Government address and tackle poverty hunger hardship unemployment inflation rural villages communities underdevelopment and with rural areas villages communities if they are well developed in which economic and commercial activities takes place in those developed villages communities it will reduce rural urban migration..it will reduce people migrating from their villages communities to Lagos Abuja and other big cities in Nigeria and reduce the population in Lagos and people living under the bridge and which it will reduce insecurity... simple |

Yampotatocarrot:..many of those boys came to Lagos from their villages communities from other states ...if those villages communities in the other states were well developed... development attracts investment, bussinesses, jobs opportunities in an area..so all this boys would had have jobs, bussinesses to do in their developed villages communities and this will reduce rural urban migration...it will reduce those boys and people to travel to Lagos..they will stay and live in their developed villages communities and work there and earn a living and the population of those bad boys in Lagos will reduce and insecurity will also reduce. That is why Nigeria needs local government autonomy where local government can have sufficient money so they can develop the rural areas villages communities |

I feel sorry for the Lagos Authorities. Anyway, the current situation of Lagos's development plans ought at least to serve one lesson for all Nigeria state governors. It is this: Do Not Let Unplanned Activities Become Entrenched. The unstated belief by authorities all over Nigeria concerning unplanned activities such as shanty towns, roadside shops, kiosks, unlicensed realtors , poorly regulated land laws, documentation, haphazard buildings, hawking, price gouging, open defecating, rules braking, public officials harassing, traffic laws flaunting, fly-tipping, railway line markets etc seems to be that of, 'we are third world, let us take it easy on our people because they are poor and unsophisticated. That, as we develop as a nation, things will evolve naturally and the right attitudes and outcomes will prevail'. Well, Lagos's experience indicate that this will not happen. Lessons from Lagos instead shows us that when authorities overlook disorder and accommodate the unplanned survival activities of the masses, disorder will become Entrenched and evolve into the self entitled Rights of the people and state progress will become difficult if not almost an impossible task. In the name of advocating for citizens against the Nation/State, Human rights, civil society and a world more tightly connected due to information revolution will place huge obstacles in the path of your national and state developmental plans. |
