Borrowing to subsidize the fuel so taking Nigeria into much debts and the borrowers started warning us since GEJ era that they will soon stop lending us money to subsidize fuel. We need to fix our problems internally. Once any of the refinery in Nigeria start working, the government through them can get the real statistics of how much liters of fuel Nigerians consume daily, and then subsidize it with the proceeds they get from selling crude, and also subsidize other things like food to alleviate the hardship. Just with time, we will get there but it won't be easy because a lot of enemies of Nigeria are fighting this solution.
