I will say it again, as SS person who strongly supported PO in the last election, PO and the Igbos need to drop this matter. There are many other things to attack the govt over. Tinubu has laid a trap for PO and the Igbos, and they are walking right into it. Support for PO is dropping fast across the SS. The project that have been in place for over 30 years no administration's ever talk about it and each administration stolen trillion of naira even if not dollars self? If those money stolen by this individual can be channel to this project would the project will still be there? Some of you are just criticizing without constructive even including your boss peter obi but you guys from that region really get empty brain spits on your head bro. When the flooding will start, you will not be there to help us. SoNature: Before Peter Obi ever criticised that road, I did first. My argument was that those trillions of naira (they said the FG will pay 50% of 15 trillion which is about 7.5 trillion) should be invested in agriculture and power. Prices of foodstuff are becoming alarming and a country of 200 million people doesn't distribute up to 5000 megawatts of power; almost the whole economy runs on generators.
However, APC members and their foot soldiers are now deploying tribal politics to the whole argument that this road isn't a priority. So, I want to appeal to my Igbo brothers to halt all arguments concerning this road because they are now inciting the South South people against us.
This is the only thing APC knows how to do best - divide and rule. It has worked so well in Lagos guber elections and they have brought it to national politics. Unfortunately, they keep taking Nigeria backwards because facts and figures don't lie. what if this dump Tinubu man put that money on refinaries and make fuel easy for us in this country. We for praise him. Why are Nigerian leaders like this for God's sake. All Niger Delta states receive oil derivation funds apart from the monthly Allocation from the FG. What have they done so far with it?. Ogun state doesn't receive 60 % of what Delta gets. Sprinklepee: I never wan answer this op now. Why you dey think the coastal highway nor fit work, na people like una dey go against the development of this country yet una go dey blame govt. The simplest reason why it will never work is that in 5yrs time, if the Naira continues to lose 50% of value every year for the next 5yrs, cost overruns will render this project impossible to complete. Then Nigeria will be indebted to Chagoury forever. This means that we will be forced to concede our most profitable oil fields to the Chagourys. This is debt trap that might eventually enslave coming generation Nigerians to the Chagoury clan. Cavaet Emptor !! |
