The company is seeking to hire a motivated and tech-savvy Junior Accountant to join their team. He/she will gain valuable experience in various accounting functions while contributing to the financial well-being of the organization.

The ideal candidate for this role must have strong knowledge of book keeping and accounting principles, good organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and record financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments.
Participate in the monthly/quarterly closing process, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Extract and analyze financial data to support management reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records within a computerized accounting system.
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.


Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
Must be tech-savvy.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
