Salvation by paying Tithes?

Salvation by Faith without Without Works.

Salvation by paying tithes.

Both doctrines are VERY repugnant indeed. Salvation by tithes is simply a non-starter. However the idea that mere faith (such as in an individual or a ritual) can accomplish salvation is very dangerous indeed: and forms the core of my problem with the teaching of ritualistic redemption via a Roman style execution.

-The first one is nothing short of pure "scammery".
- The second one is like saying that a marathon runner will reach the end if a marathon race without leaving the starting block. Faith represents only the desire to run the race, but to get to the other end needs work in the form of stamina, race tactics and speed.

The answer to this question would depend on the person giving the answer-whether they are regenerated or unregenerated. Salvation by Faith without works and it's cousin- predestination-are  the most repugnant doctrines ever, to the unregenerated man !

Both doctrines aren't in line with the Bible telling us in

Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

People have got to start studying their Bibles instead of relying on another man's interpretation and or "teaching".
