As of today (5 yrs), that case is still going up and down in High Court, it has not gotten to Appeal not to talk of Supreme court. Since the Court has barred those Assembly members from seating until final determination of the case, that is a smart move by Fubara; guys has a long way to go, the reason why they are protesting today.
