This is why you should never pay your workers their money in advance. Only pay after a well done job.

Lolzz. Once money don enter their hand like this, they will not be motivated to do the job well again. This is how some people end up with leaking POP when it rains, e.t.c. grin

Lol... True... But mostly depends on the type of job...
Half payment is always recommended, to buy materials needed for the job, then after doing the job, the remaining payment will be "Workmanship money"...

But collecting everything once, lol, will be like being in debted to the customer grin

I have suffered this regret many times.

Humans are the same in every part of the world, just that some parts have a good legal system to keep humans in check.

One disgusting habit about most artisans. If you pay them 100% before job completion, WAHALA - If you didn't pay them 100% before they start the Job, TROUBLE.

Element of truth in it,
but not in all cases.

Mopolchi:
grin grin By this time, the money has finished.
Na so.
Babes don collect,
Bet9ja don collect,
He is working for free at this point ,taking time out to think about his life and hoping his last bet9ja ticket no cut.
He is going through a lot.

So person who works for you cannot rest if he is tired. The picture depicts that the man is not lazy.

When paid in full and I'm yet to execute the job, I set the money aside and do not touch it until I've completed the job.

There is no evidence in that picture that shows that man has been fully paid? What I see is a man overworked and resting.

Nobody here can swear you work from 8am till break or closing time without resting not to talk of someone doing a more physical work.

What happened to humanity

That shouldn't stop one to pay in full if the full money is in the account. It also reduce stress and headache for the one that own the job.

There is nothing wrong with making advance payment but it needs to be a proportion of the total fee not 100% undecided

The moment you tell me you paid in full before the work commences, I become careful when it comes to trusting you with valuable things. This is not because you are bad but because you still lack significant knowledge of what real life is all about. This is not the time to become emotional, this is money we are talking about and in real life, no single individual will tell you that he likes working for working sake. People work basically in exchange for something in view and once that thing (money or commodity) is no longer in view, working becomes a kind of punishment or even consider a kind of 21st century slavery.

It's only a stupid worker that would behave this way. Good ones don't behave like this.

You should be happy he paid all, so it can be well utilized.
