Shut up there.

The Nigerian league has improved vastly. You wouldn’t know because all you know is EPL.

You didn't have to tell me to shut up, well, upbringing matter a lot. That being said, you can only follow what is been televised even beyond the shores of the country. In addition, a country's league is judged by the viewership and performance on the continent. Until these indexes improve, I stand by my opinion of the league.

Let's even forget about the scoreline for now.
Which antecedent did Finidi have to have been appointed SE coach?
Samson Siasia at least coached u21 and Olympics team before his appointment then
Sunday Oliseh had coached a team in Belgium or Holland taking them from the second division to the first.
Stephen Keshi had coached abroad.
What criteria did they use to appoint Finidi,Enyimba?
Then look at his lineup today,Onuachu starting the attack.
Iheanacho that hasn't played for Leicester for donkey months.
You are the one that is being myopic!
He doesn't have a team yet. Most of the people you mentioned were the first that reported to camp. You forgot that this strike affected the eagles early camping. South Africans has trained a week plus for this game together. Forget anything, you can't blame the coach with just this game. Talking of experience, winning the NPL with Enyimba is part of experience. My prefered coach for the eagles was Her not rohr, but that does not mean I would now come and start judging FINIDI wrongly because my preferred candidate was sacked.

We are luck this Bafana team is not clinical and very wasteful.

It should be minimum 1-3 now

Fisayo Dele Basiru scores on his debut for Nigeria. Recall that Finidi George also scored on his debut for Nigeria against Burkina Faso in 1991.

Why is Onuachu still in this game and Boniface is on the bench? Is Aina injured or what? He is not on the line up.

PLEASE SHUT UP.

That the league has improved does not mean you will start to see results immediately ''on the continent''.

Idiots drowned in inferiority complex.

Finidi might end up being a good coach but his team selection is somehow doubtful to win matches n his game reading accurancy is low,one of the reason he needs amokachi badly!

Nwabali was good with penalties at the nation's cup and he was also confident in marshalling his box. But I noticed he spilled several balls you would have expected him to catch but we were lucky not to be punished. Not also confident of his judgement at competing for aerial balls and corner kicks too. I honestly don't think we have resolved our goal keeping problem yet

Iamgrey5:
Look at how Cape Verde played them.

They quickly switched play from left to right to isolate their skillful players against their defenders.

South Africa were very lucky to beat cape verde.

Nididi has decent long passes, he should play deeper and iwobi should be removed for Oyeka who is more battle ready.

Onachu should make way for a Boniface.

I am sure ihenaco is direct enough.

Where are you guys even watching this match from I have been searching for a station that's showing the match to no avail?

zhike:

The problem of Nigeria is that they are using more overseas players, while south africa is using local based players

Nah... Not true.

The issue is not the quality of players rather the process of selecting them.

You can pick the best players regardless of where they play... If they are good and teachable, they will deliver.

How many nations focus on home leagues and leave out key performers abroad?!!

Belgium, Norway, France, America, Canada, to mention a few, have most of their first team playing their trades in top clubs.

Super Eagles are poorly recruited (too much bias in selecting players), poorly trained, and badly oriented.

A simple observation will clearly show that the Coaching crew don't even do their research when inviting players... Most times, they invite players based on lists submitted to them or based on popularity.

They don't take the time to sit down and draw up a playing plan... To find out what players fit into a winning system.

Do they even have a system?!!

Super Eagles under Westerhoffe and Jo Bonefre had clearly planned approach and philosophy of play... And all players were recruited in all positions based on well-researched abilities to thrive there.
