Tactical setup

It was easy to see the goal coming

Onachu waste of space
Exactly. The only clearest opportunity we had before their goal, our player played straight to the goal keeper

Our players are overrated . We managed to beat South africa at the African Cup of nations via penalty. Today they are dictating the game . This is where I.miss osimen . The determination of osimen always make the difference . Wr are playing as if us a friendly game . We can aswell kiss goodbye to the world Cup. South africa is more serious

I have always said Finidi is the wrong choice. Check out some of the players he selected. Onuachu who is sluggish starts over Terem and Boniface!

I weep!

The problem of Nigeria is that they are using more overseas players, while south africa is using local based players

Our midfield is beyond non-existent. See when Lookman picked up the ball. No one in the hole for him to play 1-2s with.

This boys are not playing with any tactics. At least with Peseiro 3-4-3 you could see what they were doing

Amunike would have been a better coach.
There was even news that was on online media,SM and even here on nland that amuneke had been appointed and majority of people were happy and hopeful.
Suddenly the news was debunked and out of the blues,Finidi of all coaches was appointed!
Who knows if it was even because of his appointment, amokachi refused to be his assistant.
Let's just watch.Hope Nigeria still wins, but the issue is that a victory will then blind the NFF to his deficiencies again.

If Nigeria doesn't win this match, all the NFF executives should be put in prison, their bank accounts frozen and houses confiscated.
Many people kicked against this Finidi publicly that this guy doesn't have what it takes, yet NFF to the shock of everyone appointed Finidi.
Even if Nigeria eventually wins this match, these are early signs this guy doesn't have the capacity to lead the super Eagles going forward

Prison is too much lol..

But make dem collect back that Gwagon wey they gave finidi straight

This is not why. Our coaching and set-up just isn’t up to standard. We aren’t calling up the right profile of players and our play isn’t coherent.

Argentina won the WC in 2022 with mostly foreigners even through the Argentinian league is a good league

Determination alone cant take super eagles anywhere .....no strategy ..just run run and no tactics ..

knowing that these south Africans can run ,,,this our energetic starting style was a mis-step.

secondly Onuachu wey no sabi anything dey play as striker ...very useless selection

yinmu

If it's just by tactics, Pep will stick to the players he met at Mancity

The team is missing 3 keys players that were in AFCON

Osimhen, Moses and Ekong
