Have you ever wondered why early morning exercise is not included in the African home?

We & our African parents just wake up in the morning, do morning devotion, do chores, get ready for work/school and go out. We don't take at least 30 minutes to do some yoga or exercise most times due to procrastination or laziness or fear to go out in the dark morning.

That's also why we easily store up body fat. No physical exercise. We also don't take up the benefits of morning exercises enough.

In fact, we just don't encourage ourselves in this country. Me inclusive.

1. Because the morning devotions are considered to function in the place of exercise and other activities. undecided

2. That and the fact that the typical African meal is very low in protein content it is recommended that individuals consume at the very least 0.36g of protein for every 1 lb of weight he or she carries on a daily basis. However, the average Nigerian diet does not account provide anything near that amount thereby predisposing many to weight gain. undecided

3. There are those who try to, however, you quickly realize that you can't force a horse to drink after you have led him to the brook. undecided

Our economy is that which affords the average citizen to own a car, so usually people trek. That trekking alone is enough to cover your exercise for the day.

Also, time you spend doing exercise would eventually make u late to wherever you are going eg school or work, as traffic jam will not let you arrive your destination on time so u have to leave early.

This is so true. The No.1 factor for me is the fear of going out early in the morning because of insecurity situation in the country. That's why many nigerians are overweight most especially married men and women. You will see potbellies and body ugliness everywhere.

Exercise is a daily mandatory routine.

However people who are most likely poor and walk long distance everyday to either their work place or wherever doesn't really need to do exercise again because the trekking would cover for it.
