I need advice from everyone on this issue. My sister is processing her international passport and visa to travel out. She have written TELPIP exam and she passed on a sitting. Currently she secured a job with one of the generational banks in Nigeria and there is clause attached to the employment, which states that "if she leaves the bank withing 2 years of working with them, she will pay a fine of 2 million naira which is one of the criteria to get a guarantor that has such amount in his/her account and will stand in for my sister.
Note, the salary and job role have not been stated nor discussed.

Please whats your advice if you are in her situation...
Should she take the job and turn down the offer... PLEASE ADVICE

I have not worked for banks before but I can tell you that your sister has not gotten an offer simply because the financial term and JD have not been defined. My advice is that this job might end up being an enslavement and she shouldn't joke with the condition of presenting guarantor because if she leaves eventually without paying the 2M, she might put the guarantor into trouble later

As long as she signs the acceptance letter and she takes up the job and she eventually leaves later on not staying up to 2yrs or paying the 2M, the guarantors will be held accountable and it will be a smooth win in Court, but this wicked conditions don't normally come into effect until the employee has been fully confirmed after Months of probation. She should think twice before taking up the offer
