Dangote’s forebears were the richest in west Africa before Ojukwu’s father was born, not even Nigeria. Kano city (it’s a city and a state) has some of the biggest billionaires per square mile. Dangote family (Aliko and his late brother) , Dantata family (several billionaires, Hajia Maryam, Dangote’s mum is from this family, several Dantata billionaires, they own Dantata and Sawoe etc) and Isyaka Rabiu family (BUA is just one of his sons, there are other billionaires in the house, they own IRS airlines etc)
