The last time I had bedc light in my area was December 2023 . Solar and gen have been the rescue . They said the transformer armoured cable was vandalised and each house contributed 5k for repairs, bedc did their work and a few houses across the street had light that day without we having. The next day the said the transformer had a bigger problem and they took it away. That is how for 5 months now no BEDC light

Before we barely have 4 hour of supply per day. Sometimes, we go days without power. But now, we have more than 12 hours and it has been steady.
