You're correct that people expecting a miraculous turn around from Mr Atiku or Mr Obi if either is elected are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Having said that, incremental progress will and can be made.

But the problem is that the impact of such steady progress is unlikely to make a significant difference in the life of many.

Nigeria needs fast and furious growth and development. It is dfficult to see how that's going to happen given the deep and foundational challenges that have been in place for at least 30 years.

The religious politics he played will not work again in 2027, the Muslim Muslim ticket was condemned by many Christians in 2023 because Obi made the people to believe Apc will islamize Nigeria. Christian have gotten more position now in this government than Muslim, so many Christians will now believe it was purely political reason to get vote, expecially in northern region. Obi who his now desperate moving from one state to other in the north knows that he will not get the kind vote in the south again.
