Security: It's wrong for Ihiala NBA Chairman to vilify Soludo . By Chinedu Obigwe

It is wrong for the Chairman of( NBA)ihiala branch, Barr.izuchukwu Clifford Nsofor to say that Governor Soludo has abandoned ihiala.

A lawyer that is the Chairman of all the Chairmen and secretaries of the 8 branches of NBA in Anambra is not expected to be speaking like a charge and bail lawyer paid to execute the dirty hatchet job of dent government image.

No matter what anyone says, I will continue saying it boldly without minding whose ox is gored that Governor Soludo has done marvellously well on the security sector and other sectors of governance.

My assessment of Governor Soludo is based on how the security situation was in our State before he took over the mantle of leadership and how the situation is presently.

To be honest, there is significant improvement of the security situation in our State as at today.

But crime is not something that can be eradicated completely and that is why our people need to start seeing security as the business of everybody and not something that should be left for government to handle alone.

It is when we see security as everybody business that we will give government the needed cooperation to fight insecurity.

Anambra is getting it right under Governor Soludo administration and we need to encourage our Governor to do more for us by appreciating him for his good works in our State.

ihiala remains part and parcel of Anambra State and in that regards, Governor Soludo cannot abandon them.

It was unfortunate that a senior lawyer was killed in Okija but we should not forget there was a time Okija turned to be the most secured community in ihiala because of the synergy formed between Okija community leaders and Governor Soludo administration.

Those that killed the senior lawyer from Okija will still be unmasked but we should not be surprise to discover that the killers might be people close to him just as the killers of Umuoji PG turned out to be very close to him.

The truth is that Governor Soludo administration is doing the needful to curb insecurity in our State but we must refrain from politicising insecurity.

What Barrs Nsofor did is tantamount to him politicising insecurity and its very bad of him.

issues of security are not tackled in the press.

We should assist our security agents with intelligence gathering to enable them eradicate insecurity in our State.

The claim that Governor Soludo has abandoned ihiala is false and should be disregarded.

As I pen down this reaction, security operatives are still in some communities within ihiala for special duties with the authorisation of Governor Soludo administration and that is an undeniable evidence showing that the Governor did not abandon ihiala and will never abandon ihiala people.
