As we heard, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not the choice of kingmakers in 2014, but was chosen by the government of Kwankwaso to spite Jonathan which had dismissed him as CBN boss.

Sanusi Ado Bayero, who was chosen by the kingmakers, allegedly left Kano in protest of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi's appointment. His younger brother, Aminu Ado Bayero, was installed after Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was deposed.

My fear is for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf not to depose Sanusi Lamido Sanusi himself.

Emir Sanusi should not have accepted to return. Politicians are using him to fight their battles. He is too big for that.

I thought I am the only who doesn't see any sense in sanusi accepting the offer to return back as emir of Kano.That throne has been reduced to nothing by Ganduje and now governor Yusuf.A better approach should have been to dethrone the emirs in the new Emirates and then appoint loyal people as replacement.

Do some research, he was among the 10 persons ordered to be executed by Abacha for carrying out jihad, killing a Christian in 1997. He is lucky to be alive; 9 were executed but they told Abacha all 10 were executed. He was smuggled out and saved.

I don't think so o. There is no way the governor could have done this without Tinubu support . It only shows that Tinubu has chosen to dump ganduje and to go with other powerful ppl and groups within APC. Kwankwaso will work for Tinubu with the way things are going . Tinubu has given him a state and supported this. I won't be surprised if we have a repeat of 2023 In 2027. The worst that will happen is Kwankwaso party winning Kano , this scenario works well for APC as long as PDP and labour party doesn't win kano
