So We have Semo even in Yakutsk Russia (coldest city in the world -63° in winter)
But... The people here don't prepare it like Semo, they mix it with butter, sugar and a type of sauce, make it like pap and drink
Only Africans living here prepare it like Semo

So at the office today my boss said he saw the 'African Semo' online and wants to try it

So I made it!

Don't worry I no too fall una hand I am also a professional cook in a four star restaurant in the city where I took a one month internship, my cooking skills were accessed and I was promoted.

However I must agree that I was a bad cook before I left Nigeria. So even though I make sushi, Korean foods and Russian dishes, I am bad at making Nigerian foods

But as a Yoruba boy, the pepper follow wella
There are no hot pepper in Yakutsk and most of Russia. The peppers here can be chewed and eaten like fruits not spicy...instead they are even sweet but we got some real African-type pepper from a Korean shop (they love peppers there too)

Unfortunately I could not get a lot of ingredients to make Nigerian soup, there is no palm oil in Russia

Russia is made up of several Republics. The Saha people look like Russians, Mongolians, Chinese, Koreans, etc. This is Yakutsk, a Russian City the most popular one in Siberia.

seconded. There are only three months for people to cultivate here, that's why foods like maize, vegetables and berries are the cheapest things here (Agro-products you can cultivate within two to three months. Anything else are grown in greenhouses or imported. These are relatively expensive since you need to expend a huge amount of energy to keep green houses warm enough to support agriculture in the freezing winter months)
But back to Nigeria, we can cultivate our lands every single month of the year.
