I know for sure that Oba Ehengbuda died in battle with Owo. Since then Bini Obas stopped going to war.

Owo was NEVER part of the Benin kingdom.

You are wrong. Even the British that came with the latest machine guns and bombs could not touch the Oba till he decided to give himself in. No Benin Oba has ever been defeated in battle.

Lol..he did not give himself in. He fought and his people were massacred in large numbers and the kingdom looted.

All part of the country fell for this trap. At school you will learn slave trade, jihads, empires but not in detail. Bring it up they will tag you as a successionist. An Hausa doesn't know his root likewise Yuroba and Igbo. Every other tribes are victim of this...because it favours the elites and political class, the status quo is maintained.

Mahintedo was never part of Benin kingdom. I may not know much about others, but I'm very sure of this one.
