iamoyindamola:If I really wanted to, I would mention them. Although, I only watched most of them on YouTube. Alan Shearer and Koeman are notable mentions. Even Ibra. Essien, Alonso and Lampard. Meanwhile I just checked now, the player that hit the fastest shot, Ronny Herberson was left footed. 210km/h. Adriano and Riise ain't even top 15. There is a sell on clause in Biereth's contract. I think 30%. And I don't think this sell on clause is one time. It is for any future transfers. Like if the player is moving in future, we will still get our 30%. I'm not sure though. |

mostob:All these you listed are average players right🤣🤣 I am not against academy players leaving what I am against is losing the best of them and for free |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by mostob(m): 1:06pm On Jul 05 |
iamoyindamola:Depends on your definition of average player na. I think I was wrong. Left footed players actually had the higher shot power. I had to google search. I didn't watch most of the players on the list so I made a wrong statement. But from my search, most of those shooters are right footed. You should know not all of them will make the first team na. And Edu is trying to get something by adding sell-on clause to their contracts. Moreso, most of them are average. I didn't watch them but I followed their matches. If I'm to choose between buying Nico and promoting Duberry, I'll choose the former. After all, no be me go pay the transfer fee. |

Arsenal are open to offers for Tomiyasu, Kiwior and Zinchenko as Mikel Arteta's ruthless streak continues. All 3 players are highly thought of but it remains to be seen if all 3 will leave in one short window without replacement(s) being signed . Riccardo Calafiori's proposed transfer hasn't reached the late stage as medical just yet, some outlets are a little ahead on that move . The player has agreed terms ... talks with his Club are positive. #arsenalfanaticsnews Dem don dey overdo this transfer stuff o |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by mostob(m): 3:13pm On Jul 05 |
iamoyindamola:We're paying for quality now. Nico is well established and has been playing consistently for like 2 seasons now. On the other hand, Duberry is still unproven. Everything about him is still uncertain. Moreso, I don't think we should be doing backup at this stage. Everybody should fight for their spots. If Nico comes in and bench Saka, it is all good. The competition will elevate the team. Bro, inasmuch as no be me and you dey pay, let the club spend the money as they wish. Make Dem give us trophies na the Koko. |

mostob:Lol.. the thing is that we'll keep on doing Mary go round and Las Las it'll turn to agenda which might not bode well in the long term. From these pictures, you can see that it's a group photo and no (one) person was highlighted. Not Kane, not Foden, not Bellingham(who's a black btw) but group photo celebration (and it's not as if it's an only white photo). My point was that, Saka is not a target. But if we start torchlighting every little photo instead of seeing it as what it is, then it'll just subconsciously turn to agenda. |

Meanwhile Mostob. Is this the Switzerland squad you've been disturbing me since?? Like this Switzerland?? You too make mouth ontop them that I had to personally send our Arsenal boys to deal with them (Saka goal and Rice assist) |

Jodera:Just like Ruben, defenders can see it coming, they know it's going to happen, they know how it's going to happen, but they can't stop it. I hope to see it more in EPL next season. |

germaphobe:Swearss... The way he adjusted his body, I just knew he wanted to do his trademark shooting. More of his explosiveness next season abeg. I can't wait Saka is too good and durable. It's only a foolish coach that will bench tested and trusted Saka because of a new shiny toy in Palmer. I thank goodness that Southgate wasn't moved by all these media reactions. I respect am for this tournament because he really blocked his ears to media this time 1 Like |

Mostob, if you watched that England game ystdy, even though on paper Saka was playing Rwb but in reality, he was playing as a winger. You could see he was the one always taking their defenders on and he hardly tracks back the way a normal wb should. Also with the change of structure/formation, England played their best game so far in this tournament I'm glad Southgate didn't listen to all these media noise that wants to de-settle the team. Aside his formation and structure (which is very important), I've really been impressed by his other decisions so far especially for not being easily influenced |

"Arsenal are pushing to get Riccardo Calafiori deal done next week as final round of talks has already been scheduled. Arsenal are confident as Calafiori wants the move, he’s keen on Arsenal project and agreed on contract until June 2029 for €4m net/season". Defense wins you the league Deal close. 1 Like 1 Share |

Jodera:Bro... This may actually look like an agenda but please be open minded. Why didn't they use a group photo for that friendly loss too? Someone who came in for some minutes yet not one..notntwo but four different papers used his picture. Now, they won but Saka can't be found on any of their pages. Someone who scored the equalizer ad still scored a penalty. He even won the MOTM. But he wasn't included in any of the photographs. Like look at the pictures I posted now, where is Saka? |

Jodera:I didn't watch that game bro. But I no gree with this one o. The adjustment Southgate made came as a result of media outcry. Like the pundits actually made the decision for him. Who gave him the idea of playing Saka at WB? The media started it first. |

Ijustwantto:Not taking anything away from him but his updates recently has been somehow. Arsenal's transfers specifically. Last year, this arsenalfanatics guys posted that Rice to Arsenal is a done deal and that the only thing remaining is medical which was being fixed. On that same day, Romano posted about City hijacking the deal by offering more money than Arsenal. Maybe his sources are now slacking. |

mostob:Lol... Surprisingly, I didn't see Saka face (tho in one, it was cut out). But you know why?? While everyone went to celebrate after the final successful kick, Saka knelt down at that spot to thank(or prayed) to God. That's the reason you don't see him In any of those pix. So then, I won't read too much into it cos it's a group picture that was used(which depicts their penalty shootout win). I would have been alarmed if Kane or Bellingham was used. Anyways, just send me pictures next time(like this) if Kane or Foden scores an equalising goal and they win on PK (without any of them being the winning PK taker). If it happens and only their pictures were showed, I'll concede admission and hands up. |

mostob:Thank goodness you admitted you didn't watch the match so I understand where this post is borne out from. Now, if Southgate was influenced by the media, Saka would have played Lb or Lwb not even rwb/rb ystdy cos Trippier was the target (as media are clamouring for) but no, none of such happened. Also, same Trippier still played and same 1st 11 still played (aside Konsa which came in for suspended guehi). So, What does that tell you? It just simply tells you that Southgate just changed structure to the team cos they've been v.poor for 4 straight matches. It was an obvious thing to do. Below is Saka heat map and if you watch the match ystdy, you'll never agree that he played rwb ystdy (cos obviously he didn't). The heat map here gave further credence to it. The structure England played ystdy freed up Saka and it's no wonder he gave his best performance yet in this Euros. I expect Southgate to continue with this formation All those their clamour for Palmer into the starting 11 and Trippier to be dropped for Saka to play Lb/Lwb will now be effectively shut down. Anybody watching England's game knows that Trippier was never the big issue but structure. But because they want shiny new toy (Palmer to play) and Saka to play Lb (because they he played there his breakthrough season), they just believe that's the cheap problem neglecting the bigger issue at hand.
