Reiterate Nketiah deal was done just final details remaining

Martinelli has everything to become a CF
He needs coaching mentoring and confidence.
Almost all his goals were in the CF position.

Sure it's debatable.

Nelson should go on loan.

Ramsdale likely going to wolves (other clubs possible).

Mancity on Guodogan again?

Just thinking.

If Pep Accepted Gundogans return, why didn’t Wenger agree for Fabregas to return?

Martinelli just doesn't have the skillet to play as a CF. Make he stay at LW for now. If he is changing position, it should be from LW to RW.
Lol..
My own is that he just needs to improve sha.

Remember how he was really everything we needed when he burst out as a teenager. So I won't really say he doesn't have the skillset, he just really need to impress and become more imposing physically

I just like that guy. A complete CF. We can give them 50m plus Nelson. grin grin
After all, this is not the first time we will do business with them.
I swear, I like the guy too.

Can't believe I was one of those who didn't approve of his transfer all those years sha grin grin

Wenger said we had Ozil so there was no room for Fab.

But aside that, the way fabregas forced move and the way Gundo left Man City are two different situations. If Gundo behaved like Fabregas, Pep would never have accepted him back and I think that's the main reason Wenger didn't accept Fab

The two situations are not one and same in any way at all.

Gundogan left city as a 32 year old who helped them win 5 EPL trophies , a champions league and several domestic cup titles . The tribute city gave him is still on their website ; in fact, they said he’s always welcome at city in the ending of their tribute to him.

Fabregas on the other hand left Arsenal as a 24 year old at a time we needed him the most. Our chief executive at the time Gazidis confirmed Fabregas practically refused to train just to force his way out of Arsenal . That is a player that joined us at age 16 and we gave him opportunity to transition to the first team at a very young age. A player that was willing to forfeit his €4m loyalty bonus just to leave the club.

I am glad Wenger blocked his move to rejoin the team at that time. Looking back now , I still believe Wenger took the right decision; I don’t support rewarding disloyal players at all.

Let's even see who this shock signing is going to be sef.

Abi na Neymar? grin grin grin
I just know say that Fabio no go make am here. Arteta wanted to create opportunity for him on the right as Saka deputy but he is not taking it. He cannot do 1v1 and he lacks stamina

Napoli wanted him to go to Chelsea as a part deal for Lukaku. The good news for us is that Lukaku now has a deal in place between Chelsea and Napoli that is outside Osimhen. Any club that can cough out 100m and 300k pw will get Osimhen.

How many players Arteta don fumble laidis? I dey count am. Why buy him when no be Eredisivie or La Liga where physicality is not a necessity? Even that RW thing, immediately i heard it, i knew it couldn't work, majorly because he too overuse Saka to trust Fabio there regularly.

Fair assessment and analysis.

However, could it be said that his beef was with Wenger and Not with Arsenal? Because, we (Arsenal) still celebrate him one way or the other, unlike RVP, Adebabayo and co..

Wenger was pissed at him then.

But come to look at it, even a club legend like Viera, I read somewhere that it’s not like he left on good terms, but we still celebrate him, and would somehow welcome his return, just like we did with TiTi. So why sanction Fabregas return? I get I might be sentimental because Fabregas was one of the players I loved at Arsenal back then, him, Rosicky, Hleb, and Nasri even though RVPs exit hurt me the most, I felt betrayed..LMAO!! So, I wouldn’t have accepted his return no matter what. But Fabregas was really loved at Arsenal, Baba could have been an all time Legend at the club.

I support Arsenal and I believe wenger took the decision on behalf of all of us Arsenal fans by stopping Fabregas’ second coming .

Such players did not stay with the team when the team needed them, so it’s only right the club hierarchy deny them opportunity when they also need the club.

Fabregas didn’t want to come back because of his love for Arsenal , rather it was cos he didn’t get playing time at Barca like he had hoped to.

As far as I’m concerned nobody celebrates him more than we do RVP and the likes .

Fair enough. However, let’s not pretend that Arsenal weren’t on decline then, our ambition was just to mark attendance in Champions League by making top 4.

Baba saw an opportunity for personal/career achievement and took it.

It was not too personal as we would like to see it. We were on a regressive path with no clear outline on what our future goals were at the time.

Mind you, we did not only lose out on key players, we also lost some of our fan base, some of them Japa turn Barca and Man City fan.

Imagine someone like Fabregas playing with the likes of Chamakh, Bendtner and that lazy Ashavin. This was someone that controlled the midfield in a match like that of AC Milan who had exceptional midfielders.

My point is, Baba was an elite playmaker and wanted to play among player of his caliber.

I’m just looking at it from his perspective.

Nobody is saying he doesn’t have a right to leave a team he feels does not align with his personal ambition.

But also, the team has a right to reject him when next he comes calling for a return to the same team and that was exactly what happened .

He exercises his right of leaving us when he did and we exercised our right of closing the door on him after he left. It’s not personal ; no hard feelings at all.

U are the one who thinks we should’ve allowed him in like it was his right. No it’s not.

Whether it was with Arsenal or with Wenger, the truth remains that the Wenger that everyone knew regarding discipline and character will not suddenly bend the rules for Fabregas after his reputation as regards discipline. We saw how the szcheszny matter went to. At the time it looked harsh but that was Wenger. Surprisingly, the Wenger template is now a norm among many clubs in Europe and beyond. Prior to then, many would ignore the indiscipline cos of talent.

I have a gunner friend that holds the school of thought that maybe that's why Arsenal no dey take teenage straight to senior XI again. It sounds funny to me anyway. We the fans don't know or see alot. Infact the media too dunno some stuff.

The other two took hatred to another level according to fans.

That’s just it.

Do u know the level of disrespect u must have had for the club for u as a player under contract to refuse to train? Fábregas refused to train just to force his way out.

Why should he expect that same club will now welcome him with open arms after his transfer didn’t work out as he had intended ?

Great start to the season and let's hope for the best going forward. Finally great to see some movement of fringe players whom, when given the opportunity were not able to take it. Truth be told, if we are to wrestle the title from city, we need more that just a starting eleven. We need quality in every position and quality backups too. Greetings to all the Gunners in the house as well.

I don’t know why our management don’t like going to South America to look for top talent for that striker role. Let’s forget about all the overhyped and overpriced options in Europe . If they can look towards the South America like Loserpool used to do I’m sure we will be able to get a decent 9.

As it stands any of the European teams will milk us dry if we want to sign a striker now with few days to the closing of the transfer window . They will know we are desperate
