New Gaza War news presented in this episode of Samri Channel.
The Israeli army reduced the size of its forces in the “limited” operation east of Rafah, as the “Givati” Brigade withdrew early in the morning from Rafah to return to Israel, after about two weeks of military operations, according to what the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported.

The Israeli army reduced its forces in eastern Rafah, and the "Givati" Brigade withdrew tonight from the area that witnessed military operations 3 weeks ago, where there are still 4 combat brigades from "Nahal", "401 Brigade", "12 Brigade" and commandos, all of which are under " Band 162".

This comes amid reports of the reopening of the Rafah crossing and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from it. The website quoted an Israeli army spokesman as saying, "Reducing the size of the forces is for the purpose of resting and refreshing the soldiers in order to return to fitness."

This announcement by the Israeli army comes after the International Court of Justice in The Hague ruled on Friday that the Israeli army must immediately stop its military operations in Rafah, and that Israel must open the Rafah crossing and allow humanitarian aid trucks to enter.

On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, launched rockets at Tel Aviv, in the largest attack on the city in 4 months, while ministers in the Israeli government called for an attack on Rafah, from which the rockets were launched. The Hamas movement said that the rocket was fired from Rafah, near sites into which Israeli forces had penetrated, while the Israeli army announced that it had detected 8 missiles fired from the city located in the southern Gaza Strip, noting that it had intercepted a number of them.

Israeli police said that a house in the Herzliya suburb of Tel Aviv was damaged by falling shrapnel, and two people were slightly injured, but no serious losses were reported.

In Kfar Saba, northeast of Tel Aviv, at least one rocket landed in an open field, creating a large crater, according to photos reported by local media. One of the shells that fell slightly damaged a car, but did not cause any casualties. Rafah is located about 100 kilometers south of Tel Aviv.

Despite the ruling of the United Nations International Court of Justice that ordered Israel to stop the attack on Rafah, it ignored it and continued its operations in the city. Commenting on these missile attacks, Benny Gantz, the minister in the Israeli war cabinet, said that the missiles that were fired from Rafah “prove that "Israeli forces must operate everywhere Hamas is still present."

In a post on the “X” platform, Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of Internal Security, who is not a member of the Israeli war cabinet, urged the army to attack Rafah “with full force.” A photo taken by a soldier near the Rafah crossing showed lines of white smoke in the sky from a short distance.

The proximity between Hamas fighters and Israeli forces highlights “the difficulties facing Israel during its incursion into Rafah,” according to what the Times of Israel newspaper reported.

It kinds of bring to question why Biden and the UN doesn't want Israel to conduct a military operation in Rafah. Is it that they're trying to protect Hama's last stronghold?
