It is laughable that Russia that has lost 1/3 of its Navy together with its flagship vessel the Moskova, to a country that has no Navy at all, is trying to convince people that it is a formidable military force. Russia is a joke. If they can't take Ukraine, is it the US they think they can face?

The weapons the US is giving Ukraine are old stock and outdated(over 30 years) versions not even the current generation and yet Ukraine is causing Russia serious casualties with them. The last count of casualties Russia has suffered is around 480,000 men.

The S-400 missile defence system which is the pride of Russia, is being obliterated by 25 year old American made ATACMS. Russia has lost over 12 S-400 so far. Each costs over a billion dollars.

Russia has to rely on North Korea, China and Iran to provide it with enough shells and ammunition because Russian manufacturing is not up to task. Little reason why Putin is desperate for a ceasefire.

The question you should ask yourself is, "was this message true or false?". OP did not share something that did not happen. Plus western media (most notably CNN and BBC) are notorious for exaggerating the flaws of nations they deem not compliant to their goals just to swing public opinion.

The aircraft was yet to be delivered to the airforce before it crashed, meaning the contractor will bear the loss. The service will still get a new F-35 from the contractor sooner or later.
