Take a look at the areas from the sky.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Same open drainage system coupled with its single lane. A road linking seven villages and someone is already comparing Alex Otti's one year in office to Makinde's five years in office. First off, change your roofs before you compare with Alex's 5 Likes 1 Share |

Most of the people commending Seyi are not living in Ibadan so I wont blame them. Seyi refused to attend to some roads in Ibadan simply because they didnt vote for him. Many bad roads are in Ibadan but he keeps re-maintaining the roads of the areas that voted for him and you are saying he is working. He should keep it up, time will tell. 1 Like |

Good Job but the governor media team should have presented the construction of 3.5km road with old pictures of the road before construction or upgraded. With this it will afford the netizens to appreciates work done on road infrastructure more. 4 Likes |

Thank God, Nigeria is renovating various roads so that road networking can be smooth. Infrastructural development is required during a crisis, particularly given Nigeria's extensive destruction. And good railway and sea roads are great. Let's keep it going. Then, we will get into skyscrapers and real urban development soon. Civil engineers, builders, environmental experts, sustainability experts, and town planners, prepare for explosive career growth in Nigeria. Nigeria will begin to build skyscrapers (particularly in Lagos) and other architectural structures over the next 20 years. Nigeria is about to experience an explosion in infrastructure development. Consider how South Korea compares to the North. Any state that refuses to move will be left behind. Choose the right candidates for governor, senator, and house of representatives. But listen, if you are 30 years above, start hustling for your life and maintain good health. This development will be ripe in the next 20 to 30 years. Will you be around then? Will you be in good health by then? |

BossGerald:Those areas are mainly old settlements which constituted the larger part of the city when it was termed the largest city on Africa. Those historic, brown roof buildings were built when about 90% of houses in Nigeria were covered with bamboo. Ibadan was the lagos of the generations past. I wish they could keep those brown roofed buildings for much longer a time for the sake of history. Most of those houses aren't occupied by many. Some are locked up. The new generations had moved to the new settlements. Hardly would you see an Ibadan rich man or woman living in them. They've moved to the new settlements whilst they still maintain their forebears' edifices. 1 Like 1 Share |

press9jatv: Good job, but I hope it is a standard-built road that will last for a good number of years after governor Makinde leaves office. There's no check and balance; the money our governors and the federal government spent or are spending to build substandard roads is alarming. |

The government of Oyo state, as a matter of urgency, must do something to improve the aerial view of Ibadan. The amount of old rusty roofs in that city is truly an eyesore. If it is by providing "roof change" incentives to property owners and giving tax breaks to roofers and aluminium roof manufacturers in the state or by making it compulsory for property owners to redevelop their structures, nothing should be off the table. 1 Like |

Looking at the drainage, it seems we have general problem in this country. I'm never impressed with the level of intellectual capacity of our engineers. They tarred a road but no rehabilitation to the existing drainage. Don't our leaders go abroad to see the quality of roads? Drainage alone even increases lifespan of a road. |
