It is a disgrace that poorly funded terrorist group will attack Nigerian army killing some soldiers and none of the terrorist was shot dead.

This is not the first time it has happened. And the army has not changed their way of operation to avoid such casualties. The only thing they do after each attack is to block roads and force people to raise their hands before passing.

What the army should do: Army should know they are targets. Having this at the back of their minds makes them to be aware of threats every minute.

Use of snipers: If they decide to have a checkpoint, it is suicidal to put all soldiers in that group in the checkpoint. There should be at least one sniper soldier hiding somewhere close to the checkpoints. If there was an attack, the sniper can comfortably take out some of the terrorists.

Your boys scout army is poorly funded and poorly motivated. Dem fit never chop sef. The Biafran side is more patriotic, better trained and motivated. Even during the uncivil war, the Biafran side decimated your shitty army. Foreign support and attack on civilian population was the only thing your desperate army used to cover up

The soldiers don't have a say, their superiors are sitting in the office and eating money. They know all these things but they'll not do it. Cos they are also benefiting from the terrorist actions. Do you know that security is the highest budgetary allocation that consumes Nigeria's money every year. If there's no insecurity the monies they received will drastically reduce.

I totally condemned the killing of the soldiers but at the same time the government should do the needful by releasing Nnamdi KANU holding him will always be causing turmoil in the southeast let the government conduct a referendum in the region that are clamoring for secession but if the region is so important to Nigeria they should be accommodated in Nigeria political arena a certain compensation should be paid to them for the damages caused by the civil war call this people reason with their plait they have been marginalized so much in the past if you want my relationship you don't have to force it down my throat

In civilised countries, Army has no business having any checkpoints. Infact, you are not supposed to see the Army, they are not a crime fighting unit

The role of the Army is external security, not internal security. That's why serious countries only use the Army in situations where the police are overwhelmed. Bringing the Nigerian Army to do the job of the Police is recipe for disaster, that is not their training.

It's also a disgrace that poorly trained and funded fulanis have totally taken over ilorin and entire kwara state from you cow-ards, and yet none of you are debating on it.

It's a total lose of territory indeed grin

Or perhaps don't go where you are not invited? Soldiers should have better things to worry about than if people decide to lock themselves inside their homes

You are not far from the truth. Sadly our elders are extremely irrationaly tribalistic.

What exactly are these people's complaints, listen to them , hear them out, draw lines and boundaries where necessary and exterminate quietly those who who not bulge.

Granting Kanu a presidential pardon will have calmed the agitation. Then as you grant him freedom you let him know that if he brings up any undue unrest...he will not be arrested a third time.

But his telling people to go burn houses and businesses in Lagos during end Sars will make him rot in prison for the next eight years.

This world ehnn, if you talk sey you stubborn, you will meet those who have a PHd in stubborness.

Your terrorists are also killing police men. Israel is not using police in gaza against hamas.
